Walked in place was dead. Food was terrible! All fried stuff was straight outta freezer. No seasoning. Nothing fresh. Oysters smelled off so we did not touch them. Side dishes were old. Nothing except the crab balls was good enough to eat. They guy that was working could not have cared less. We left hungry. Save your money before you go here eat a sandwich at home like we ended up doing.
I actually came here because of the good reviews this place had. Was kind of sketchy because it was so slow and no customer. The darn 1960 rd construction that has been happening for the last 6 years didn’t help the business either. But do not regret it one bit. I was blown away with the amazing customer service and fast service. On top of that the crawfish was damn fresh and flavorful. Great place for crawfish. The shrimp etouffee was amazingly good. Will come again when I am in town.
Food was good! Ordered the crab balls (very yummy), fried catfish poboy, shrimp fried rice. All was really good. Happy 1st birthday Kajun King!!
Food was really good. My husband said the crawfish was just ok. The workers were attentive and nice. Decent prices for a seafood place.
There was literally no one else in the restaurant and that should have been our sign to keep on driving. I ordered a salad and asked for ranch, should be simple enough. It comes out doused in Cesar dressing. No refills, the sizzler was bland and had zero flavor. So disappointing to go spend money and you get bad service and food.
Hands down the best gumbo and etouffee in the area you can get unless you have a great family recipe.Boudain and crab balls are fantastic, so is the Alfredo. Shrimp are succulent and I happen to think their blackening season is very tasty.
Food was AMAZING!!! I ordered the boil, but no crawfish only shrimp, sausage, corn, potatoes. I asked for it a little spicy ?, and ordered the fried rice with sausage and shrimp ? with ?. I’m a big happy girl so I needed my two plates. Everyone says it’s not authentic Louisiana but it’s more of a modern style to please everyone’s needs. 5 stars for me! DELICIOUS!!
Love the place, especially the outdoor section. Crab balls and Crawfish is my favorite menu items to order. Any questions Edgar can answer!! make sure you ask for him!!
Sorry, but chili beans aren't the same as red beans. Frozen boudain balls that separate and a weak gumbo just doesn't make it. Owners are nice, but the food, not so much.
Love the friendliness and attentiveness. We enjoy the popcorn shrimp and onion rings! My daughters love the chicken tenders from the kids menu
