My family & I enjoy going here once a week for delicious Chinese food. They even have our food & drink order memorized as soon as we walk in.
I've been coming to this place for years, I live it. Any time I'm near 1960 and 59 I come for eggrolls. They're amazing, and I love the quiet atmosphere and massive helpings

Been going here all my life . Pretty much. I'll be 41 in May. They for sure have the best home made eggrolls and shrimp fried rice in town. They need a location in Spring.
I hadn't been to since before the pandemic Jade Palace Chinese Restaurant. I ordered the Chicken n Broccoli plate that came with rice, won ton soup and an egg roll. When the waitress who's Chinese brought the food out I saw the egg roll and I remarked to her that I had never seen such a Big Egg Roll before. She then looks me straight in eye and says "It's a Burrito"! I almost fell over laughing! Great service and delicious food!???? ?
We arrived at 8:17 pm on a Saturday night and were seated immediately. The dining room was empty except for one person. We asked what time they closed and was told that the kitchen closed at 8:30 and the restaurant closed at 9:00. We were encouraged to order quickly so the order would go in before 8:30. We ordered two Dr. Peppers and a water and were served two Dr. Peppers in cans with plastic glasses of ice and an iced tea. The tea was free because of the mistake. The food arrived without delay and was correct, but not good. It wasn't bad, just not as tasty as I remembered from my last visit. My companions also noted that the food used to be much better. The whole atmosphere seemed subdued. I would have given another star except we had to keep shooing gnats away from the food.
I am in my 50’s and have been ordering from here since my early teens. I absolutely love this place. The egg rolls, moo goo gai pan, and the pressed chicken are amazing. Seriously, a rare, hidden gem. Try it.
Have eaten there hundreds of times. It's the first time I have done a review, I think. The food is always good. The big egg rolls are & have always been amazing.
Quality food, one sour waitress, cramped and smelly restroom, along with undesirable parking. We will be back even though we live near Jersey Village/Cypress. I think this says alot about the food; perhaps a different table next time. Enjoy ????
