Update: I have had no problems going through the drive thru. Food was still hot when I got home. Although the tacos do not look appealing, they are actually quite good. The Sourdough Swiss Jack has sauces, bacon, swiss cheese and a beef patty but despite having no lettuce, pickles, etc., it is also quite good. I like both the regular and curly fries.The star rating is based on the drive thru.I have had no luck ordering delivery through the app. I've tried 3 times and all 3 times the order was cancelled after about an hour of updates saying everything is fine.Obviously, if I were to rate delivery, it would get zero stars.This review is for the restaurant on 1960 close to West Lake Houston Parkway.
Went through drive thru and ordered 40 dollars worth of food. Paid for it. We came back around to order tacos but they said they were out of lettuce. Then tried to order egg rolls. They were out. So want home and looked at the burgers and they looked like mini cheeseburger. Chicken sandwich was plain. The fries were cold and hard. They should have told us they were out of lettuce we wouldn't have ordered and been so I'm happy. I wi never go there
STAY AWAY FROM THE 1960 (in front of H‑E‑B by WLH) LOCATION WHEN IT’S THE NIGHT CREW!!! They are incompetent, slow, RUDE, and never, and I do mean NEVER, answer their phone and their mailbox is always full! I ordered a simple Extreme Sausage Sandwich. Both pieces of sausage were so burnt it was hard as a rock. The egg wasn’t even on the sandwich and whole thing was just awful. Then my hash brown was undercooked and still halfway frozen while being stuck to the inside of the wrapper to where it fell into pieces when I tried to get it out. I tried calling several times but it either doesn’t ring at all and goes to their full voicemail or it just rings and rings with no answer at all. I don’t know why I even go back to that location since they’re like this every single time I go there! I will never go there again though that’s for sure!!
My entire order was wrong..even after I repeated twice!My kids burgers were not plain, has the works put all over them. Mine was the same, my burger was NOT as I ordered. I paid $20 for 3 burgers and 3 fries and they managed to mess up everything but the fries. WILL NOT COME BACK TO THIS LOCATION.
This review is solely on the night crew tonight(03/14/2022, between9pm-10pm) I feel sorry for whoever else has to work with those four idiots. There were only 4 vehicles ahead of me, so why did it take 40+ mins to get my stuff? There’s no way to cancel a mobile order on the app, let alone try and leave when there’s someone behind you. They gave part of my order to the car in front of me, they gave me the order for the person behind me, when one of the guys said “there’s no Fanta” they turned it into a game, closed the window and continued to sing that there wasn’t any Fanta, they were so immature. Finally he comes back to the window and I said I’d take sprite, then he turned that into a song…. It wasn’t a “ha-ha” he’s so positive, it was literally like him making fun of it and the other loser laughing along. Like when did we go back to high school…. And I still had tacos missing. BE WARNED THE PM CREW IS A HOT MESS
Hours are random, people dont know what condiments are. You ask for splenda and they give you cream, or ask for bbq sauce and you get syrup! Male drive through employee always seems high.
Been over a year since I have come to this location and it has not disappointed. It is by far the worst jack in the box in the houston area. The are extremely rude and never have supplies to support the business. It would not hurt my feeling it they shut down. I will never go to this location again. My time is better spent driving 10 extra minutes to go to a jack in the box that cares about their customers.
The food is fine. BUT DONT BOTHER GOING THROUGH DRIVE THRU AT 11PM.. they will not take an order due to shift change.. a better system should be put in place. 3 times this has happened to me at the same time of night.
It’s jack in the box. The food is what it is. You’re not dining here for a gourmet experience. With that said this is a consistently nasty restaurant with consistently horrible customer service. I’ve seen several iterations of employees at this location over the years and they all act like they hate life in general. I get it. It’s a drive thru fast food restaurant. But the level of suck here is next level stuff...
Jack in the Box just seems to be one of the best fast food restaurants.The specials are definitely worth a shot .. Everytime I try the thing on special, it's always really yummy.Whether it's the burger .. it's super cheesy and bacon filled .. or the Chicken ( "Spicy Cluck" is a crazy name) was crispy and moist with great toppings. They are quite well priced for a meal deal with frys and a drink. ( $5 or $6 )If you haven't been to Jack in the Box .. take a chance and enhance your life.
