Not busy at the time of visit. Employee was polite. Pricing was reasonable. Food was hot, fresh and tasteful. Food arrived at table in a timely fashion. Definitely will revisit.Destination is not in the most desirable area.

Hippo Burgers was an instant favorite for me since the first time I tried it a couple years back. First off, the burgers are HUGE and absolutely to die for and LOADED with different assortments of toppings. If you think the prices are a bit high for a meal you have yet to see the size of these things! You won't be disappointed. Also, the shakes are delicious and a bit addictive (I personally go with the Oreo.. and they do not chince out on the Oreo one bit.) I haven't tried all of the burgers yet but I try to change it up every time and I couldn't pick a favorite to save my life, but I can say I highly suggest adding bacon to whatever you get if it's not already there!?***Just a suggestion for someone trying to save a little money, or if you're not SUPER hungry, just get a kids burger!! They're cheaper and still bigger (and WAY better) than a quarter pounder or any other fast food type burger!!***This place is a must try for foodies in Houston!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The best burger I’ve had in 30 years. I’m here to pick up some supplies and my boss suggested this place. 5 star review. Burger is juicy and cooked to absolute perfection. Fries and onion rings cooked perfectly. Must come back to do this again.
The best burgers in Houston been going they're since they were in a little shack. They need to come to Galveston and show the island how it's done.
This place is absolutely awesome I am 100% sure this tops all burger places I've eaten at. Me and coworkers love this place. #1 in my book.

The burgers are delicious & so are the shakes. I also enjoyed the garlic fries. The Cajun fries were a little too salty but still had good flavor. Decent customer service.
it was really good. had the mushroom burger ? with no bread and they didn't laugh
