I was recommended to call this place after a Houston restaurant cancelled an order we placed for our school three weeks prior on the night before Cinco de Mayo, which is during Teacher Appreciation Week (shame on you, Tacos a Go Go). Hector's Mexican Restaurant came to the rescue! They were able to work with our price point (we are a public school) and in less than 24 hours had an entire catered meal for our school delivered to us for lunch.Everything was fresh, even the chips were warm! Staff loved the food, and it was better than what we had originally ordered. It was wonderful working with this family and they turned a stressful situation into a pleasant experience. We will definitely order from them in the future for our school- cannot emphasize enough the family oriented experience and the freshness of the food! What a miracle find!
Absolutely disappointing ordering through Door Dash. Missing several items from order and only received half a small bag of chips with order. Called and spoke to Angel MGR and again was extremely disappointed with now their customer service. Angel very nonchalantly told me they made a mistake in the kitchen and I would have to drive to restaurant to pick up the rest of the order. I will never order from this restaurant again.

You must try this restaurant!! The food is delicious!! Authentic Mexican food with a wide variety of dishes not just the same old dishes from all the other Mexican restaurants around. The customer service is top notch with is a big deal for me. And for those who are curious, the salsa is amazing ? ?!!

Food tasted pretty bad. The fajita did not taste like beef and the beans had a bitter taste to them.
Here I am with the family again at Humbles best kept secret. Hectors Mexican restaurant on 1960 near Old McDonalds farm. The food is amazing, the staff even better. Best of all, it's a friday night and theres no wait for a table. Think about that while your waiting for an hour at Buffalos just to be seated. Hectors has a full bar too. I recommend the fajitas, but theres not a bad dish on the menu. Bring the family, enjoy a meal and get to know the team at Hectors and have a great night. You won't be disapppinted
First time back in a few years. Found out there was new owners. Great food and service! We’ll definitely be back again!
I think this gentleman just took over the business had really no real employees. Waiter was really slow, waiter send me a cup of (old cold) hot coffee, and food was poorly made. Not going back.
Loved it. Great food. Nice and hot, like it should be. Good service, good advice on portions. Loved the gravy.
