This place was so yummy! My husband and I were in the area and had heard so many great things about this restaurant! We came in and had excellent service from Martin who treated us so nicely and gave us the best customer service! It was happy hour and I got the classic margarita which was perfect! My husband had the beef fajitas which he demolished and I got the street tacos and they were fantastic! Ended up leaving with tres leches to go and we will definitely be back!!! Thank you guys again! We went there last night as a family of four. The servers were rather attentive and paid attention to our food and our drinks. We basically closed the place down. The staff was polite, did not force us out, and was courteous.My family and I visited the restaurant after my son’s middle school band concert. There was no wait, the food was warm to our table, and there is not really much more we could ask for.We had a rather pleasant experience and would not hesitate going there again – no matter the nature of the event.Our teenage son even felt comfortable enough and brave enough to try the stuffed avocado. This was not a dish he had ever ordered anywhere before. While the dish was not his favorite, I took comfort in his comfort to try something new from a place we had not frequented.I like that the bar was centrally located and that the to-go containers were readily available to the patrons.Thank you for the positive experience and local people. Outstanding Tex- Mex fare. Are you tired of eating Mexican food that is all the same. This place is unique. The spices used here really add to the flavor. The salsa is my absolute favorite. It has a personality all its own. It’s not just tomato purée like all the other average spots in H-town. My fav dish is the Martin special. A platter for 1 easily serves 2. That is basically a combo fajita with BACON! Yes who came up with that brilliant idea?!! Bacon with steak, chicken and shrimp! The meat is tender and delicious. The flour tortillas are hand made not by a machine. The staff is outstanding. I also enjoyed the raspberry Margaritas on the rocks!
v Wow .. it's been a long time since I have been blown away by Mexican food .. but here we are .. the flavors here are just way better than others.Seriously, .. they have taken care to make each part of the whole meal taste extraordinarily good.From the chips and salsa, .. the chips fresh fried .. more corn taste ..The two different salsas are especially good .. the red salsa is dark flavored, . Like it has a little bit of spaghetti sauce in it .. really thick and almost beefy.I loved it!! The refried beans were expertly made .. and delicious!The Chimichanga ,.. shredded chicken, .. the chicken must have been marinated, .. it was flavorful, and moist.Deep fried in a flour tortilla .. covered in cheese .. but like Velveeta type cheese. . Seems like it wouldn't be good ... It was awesome!My wife had street tacos .. she was super impressed with the taste.Even the Charo beans were way better than the standard canned tasting beans .. this definitely had carefully crafted with just the right spices and bacon ..The decor is bright and sunny, .. they are re-building the outside of the building .. so there's that.The only thing I can be critical of, is the service .. not that it was bad, .. it was just rushed. Our server was in such a hurry to serve everyone, .. it was just too huffy and brief .. like he had way too much to do. At one point I asked for a refill of water .. he " huffed " out loud .. like he was totally exasperated with my request. .. to his credit we were right next to the refill station .. and he got me the water in less than 20 seconds.We will definitely be going here again ..I don't care if I have to get my own water .. the food is totally worth it!!
This restaurant really brought back some great and affordable food options in the area of Humble. Relaxed atmosphere, great bar options, food is great! The people are great to deal with. Highly recommended.
Where do I start? After googling for a good Mexican restaraunt and reading the reviews we tried this place out. As the reviews said, the service was great, we were greeted by a friendly owner, who made sure our 1st experience was a memorable one. We started off with a chile con queso topped with pico de gallo along with flour chips. We also had chips with 2 different salsas to try. The cheese was delicious, i could not get enough. I ordered the Torta that came with fries. My wife ordered the California burrito. The torta was delicious with fresh bread as it should be. I have to be honest, I have ordered a few California burritos in my time, this was not the biggest 1 I have had but it was very good, filled with meat in every bite. It was definitly worth the money. A nice touch was the spicy salsa that you only get when requested, it packed some heat just like I like it, not for everyone. We also ordered their frozen drink called Mangonada and it was amazing!! We have not found a place in Houston that makes this drink this good, we usually drive to San Antonio for this. We will most definitly be back for 1 of their weekly specials. The plaza is under construction but dont let that be a deterent, you have to try this place out. Their patio makes a great addition.UPDATE: Round 2 was just as good as the 1st. We started with the guacamole that was very fresh & tasty. The Combo Enchiladas were amazing and could be my favotite dish so far. You got to see the pics to understand. We were so stuffed and satisfied but we couldnt say no to their desserts. OMG the churros were so good with 2 sauces n powdered sugar. I hav to say the TresLeches was absolutly delicious. A personal recipe from the owner. You cant miss out on it! We will be back for round 3! Cant wait, see you there. Round 3 we tried the fajitas for 1. They were tender and good. My wife ordered the Shrimp Brocette. We were pleased that both plated came out on sizzling plates. The homemade flour tortillas were delicious. Only 1 bad thing was the service was up to par as it had been, very disappointing. Food was great tho.
First time there and food was delicious.Very friendly environment and our server he was so pleasant made us feel right at home. I will highly recommend this place to all my friends and family.Great place too take your family.You must go and try out Hacienda Los Arcos. ? You will love the sever as well as the food.
First time eating here and it won't be the last. We were seated quickly and immediately brought warm chips and salsa.The service was super fast. The drinks were great and the food was excellent.
The margarita flights are great! My favorite is Raspberry, but the Sangria and Strawberry are also really good.I usually get the street tacos with carnitas and they are very tasty! Everything tastes fresh. This is also just a really fun place to eat with friends, bright atmosphere and friendly staff.
What an amazing place!! The Food and Drink are Amazing!! Very friendly staff and Martin is the best!! Very accommodating and great atmosphere. The restaurant is clean and very inviting. The menu prices are reasonable, not at all like other area Mexican Food Restaurants. We ate there 3 times the first week!! You won't be disappointed!!!
