We had a huge order at the last minute when they were about to close, but they were so accommodating and super nice in making sure we got exactly what we wanted plus all of the condiments we needed. We ordered the catfish, shrimp, fries & slaw for a big group. The food was very well seasoned and received rave reviews from the group. The owner & employees were very nice & friendly. I LOVE THIS PLACE and whenever I'm in H-town will definitely go back. Ya'll check them out and tell'em Sandra sent you.?
LISTENNNNN......Everything we had was delicious...Green beans!!!! Red Beans & rice!!! Fish was fried to perfection...although...my hubby & I both agreed that what we was eating was NOT catfish....the food was piping hot! I could also tell...the hush puppies were the ones we purchase from KROGER....not home made. Customer Service was a 10/10...that made up for EVERYTHING else for me. Will return again!??????
First I’ll say I have ate at Georgias a few time although service is slow the food has been good not the case yesterday. First because of slow service and my lunch is only 30 which I was late returning from, I placed my order 40 minutes in advance. I got there and in the middle of lunch rush they were upgrading their cash register system. So my order was not ready I waited over 20 minutes finally I told the guy he could refund me if my order wasn’t ready so he went to the back and asked what I had and then said my order had went out already I’m looking like how when I’ve been standing here since I paid and you never called my number. He says some lady took it but I never saw a lady either ??♀️. So he ask what I had again I told him he got it ready got home ready to eat but I’m looking at the over cooked fish and saying it doesn’t look like catfish ? it didn’t taste like it either the fries had no seasoning and was cold the hush puppies were just warm the whole plate went to the trash it was awful and a waste of my lunch break and money. Also I’m not sure if they charge more for paying with your card but I was charged a service fee.
Well price for the amount of food is given. The catfish and shrimp was the right flavors for me. Plus the coleslaw was the best I ever had. Definitely would visit here again
I've never had a bad experience with Georgia's but today was one of them unfortunately. Not only did I find a whole tree LEAF from the outdoors in the red beans and rice...but the sauce I had specified in my order was nowhere to be found in the bag...and the sauce is my favorite.
We had to make a pitstop and i can tell you just strolling through there gives off great vibes and the aroma of the food was very pleasing to my senses! Its a must to swing by and grab a bite to eat and definitley place to go orders around Feb.-March..if you are familiar with cajun eating..you already know what im talking about that will be in season
Everything we had was delicious. I really enjoyed the catfish and shrimp. Not too much batter. It was light and crispy. Very tasty meal. The gumbo was delicious an so well flavored. The red beans and rice were also great.
Great place for creole cuisine. Nice staff. It's not fast food though. It may take 5 to 10 mins for your food, but it's always worth it. I recommend the catfish or shrimp po-boy. One more thing, you have to learn how to eat your po-boy while the bread is falling apart from you. But I'll always come back.
Beautiful mural of New Orleans with a small dine in area. I was a bit sad that their slushie machine was down and that no crawfish was available. Perhaps it's out of season; but the food was good and nicely flavored.
Anyone who rates this place 5 star gotta be a family member. This is the most horrible food I have ever ate in my life. I think the food probably had been sitting up all day. It was not fresh and not seasoned. I couldn't even eat it all , I have a stomach ache at this very moment. Wasted $40 dollars to just throw half of the food away. Just TERRIBLE.. if I could give it no star I would.
