Hot Pot Szechuan

This is my new favorite place for eating alone. The ingredients are fresh, huge selection to choose from. Soup tastes really good.Price is very reasonable, I spent about $12 for a well balanced meal.

Really tasty hot pot experience. The concept is a bit unique. You select any ingredients from the open food bar. They weigh it and charge you. You pick your hot pot soup base and they cook it for you. We pick the medium and very spicy soup base and we love it. The broth is thick and yummy. The advantage of this place is you can choose what you want to eat in your personal bowl of hot pot. Want more lamb, more shrimp, go all out with it. We spent $45 including tips for 2 huge bowls of hot pot.

If only you and the other parter want to try All kinds of ingredients in Chinese hot pot, this is really a great place to go. When I and my husband go to other hot pot restaurant. We are always in a dilemma that we wants to eat more different dishes but that would end up with lots of leftovers. We love Malatang because you can pick as few skewers as you wish, then you would be able to try more different ingredients. As to flavor, I think it will not disappoint you.Their bbq lamb and beef is also really good! Must have a try. This is our second time here and would definitely come back again

If you want to taste Northeast Spicy Pot, you have to come to Zhangliang! More than 30 different types of fresh ingredients to choose from! Pick your favorite ingredients, weight them, choose your soup base, then just leave it too them. There are options between soup base or sauce-base mix, and spice levels.Their fried-appetizers are must-try! Super crispy, not greasy at all, they taste so good even after you reheat them. Also, if you like yogurt, please try their yogurt!!

I find it a bit weird that it's by weight, but the price comes out to be about the same as other places. They have a decent number of vegetables and noodles to choose from. The broth was good, as were the cooking/preparation.

The mala soup is great. Mala xiang guo is a bit bland for my taste and compared to Spice24 in Edison, NJ.

My friend wanted to try this new spot and we decided to give it a try. For those who are new customers like us, it is just like a buffet hot pot. You go pick ingredients you want and put in a bowl. Then you go to cashier and they will weight it and you pay about $10/lb. They will ask what kinds of soup base you want to cook with your ingredients. They have spicy soup (about 3 levels), mushroom soup and tomato soup. The soup is good and goes well with fresh ingredients. The only problem is lots of ingredients in Chinese, even description of soup base. The employee is barely talking English. We were having hard time to understand what the employee said but she was trying very hard to communicate with us. I do recommend they should have dual languages, so non-Chinese customers like us can understand better.

The ingredients are fresh, the service is attentive and the taste is great!Recommend everyone to taste

Amazing soup (Mala spicy). Great price. I eat here pretty often and it's a pretty good place to get affordable, great tasting and balanced meals.

The food at this place is exceptional! Very tasty, well prepared and the best thing is you can chose among many veggie or meat options, basically you build a combination of yourself! All the food material are very fresh, you can tell that by the time you pick them up from the freezer; the soup they use beats all the places I have ever been to, it is excellent tasty real beef broth, but not salty at all or like added flavor in so many other places. I always drink it all! So good! The people there are super nice too and always takes care to offer the best quality! Highly recommend this place.
