Really like this place for take out, fresh and delicious filling rolls, we like to put ours on a platter and get a variety. I love the eel and avocado rolls here, a must order, and yellowtail Maki is great too.
I really enjoyed Yoshi! They had a lot of options on the menu for both ramen and sushi. I ended up trying the tonkotsu ramen and it was very tasty! The noodles and meat were great and I really liked the broth as well.Service was great here and my food came out very quickly! It was not crowded at all when I went for dinner on a weeknight. It is a very clean restaurant and the atmosphere is very neat, with comfortable seating and pretty art on the walls.
Ordered on DoorDash & got the spicy chicken ramen and miso soup. I tasted the chicken first & it made me extremely nervous for the rest of the meal. The chicken was so bland. I mean not a drop of salt or anything. But the ramen broth was SO incredibly flavorful without being too much in any way. Like there's no reason for that chicken to taste so bad & it really ruined the bite. I took it out & gave it to my dog. Hopefully all the meats aren't like that.The miso was good. If you like miso, you'll enjoy theirs.This would've been a 5 star rating if it weren't for the chicken. I'd eat here again but with adjusted expectations.
I think the ramen is very good.I don't put 5 stars because I thought I would eat at the restaurant and I find that they only sell to-go orders.
Pickup only at this time. Truly delicious sushi. The sashimi is well portioned. The sushi is well built and stays together. The miso was delicious. It's great to know this gem in so close by! I can't wait to try their lunch specials.
Ginger overload on everything!! And the ramen tasted like the $0.25 packaged kind. Super underwhelming especially for the price.
We have been going to Yoshi for several years and it is always the same tasty Sushi Experience! The quality of the fish and the service is top notch and everything we have tried has been delicious, miso is great and the ginger dressing is amazing! We love the shaggy dog roll and the snow white roll. I have never been a huge fan of philly rolls but their philly rolls melt in your mouth and we order them now almost everytime. I rarely do online reviews but saw 3 stars on TA and had to respond and leave a review. Obviously the guy who left 1st review did not try the Sushi... his loss! He is correct when he says that you cannot eat in right now due to Covid and yes they are keeping it safe always wearing masks while prepping food and a shield up to keep customers and themselves safe, this is all just a plus in my book. Bottomline: if you are looking for amazing sushi at a reasonable price Yoshi is a must try... they get really busy on weekends so make sure you order early!
Randomly popped in for lunch. The place looked like the scene from ET with full plastic shields everywhere and completely quarantined. Kind of creepy. Anyway don't waste your time if you just want to grab a quick sushi roll because this ain't it
RUDE and shady business practices. Ordered through the door dash app, which was only 6 miles from the restaurant. After typing in the address of my hotel, Yoshi came up as an option that looked appetizing. After waiting an hour for our food, we received a very rude call from the restaurant that our hotel was too far and if we didn’t come immediately, our order would be canceled WITHOUT refund. Mind you, the food HAD been picked up already! Despite me and wife trying to be very patient, we were hung up on and our order was canceled without refund. The restaurant actually called the driver and went out of their way to tell him to throw it in the garbage. The driver ended up coming anyway, but since they canceled the order he lost out in his tip, so we had to run out, get cash, and tip the poor confused driver. Makes me wonder how many times they’ve pulled this stunt on unsuspecting people. Yoshi management: if you can’t figure out how to properly set up Door Dash and it’s delivery radius, then don’t use it! And hey, if you refuse to deliver food to an address after they’ve paid, then don’t accept your customers money!
Used the DoorDash app to order from this restaurant and after waiting an hour, I received a call from the driver stating he couldn’t find the address. It was difficult to understand what the issue was but eventually understood there was some sort of glitch where the app took the driver to the wrong address. The call ended with the driver rerouting to the correct address. About 10 minutes later I received a call from a woman, that presumably works at the restaurant, who was extremely rude and told me that she was going to cancel my order without a refund because the address in the app was incorrect. Even though the driver had already told me he had rerouted to the correct address and was on his way. I contacted DoorDash support and they were very professional and gave me a full refund. I made a new order from a different restaurant and then, while I was waiting for that new order, the poor driver from this restaurant shows up at my door saying he was told to throw my order away but didn’t feel right doing that since he was already on his way here. He said he wasn’t going to get paid since the restaurant had canceled the order so I went out to grab some cash and gave him a tip. It is a shame that this restaurant has such poor customer service, otherwise I would not have rated it so low.
