Our meal was epic!!! I have been to many places around the world and tried many different styles of food. When we went into Wula Buhan for lunch today I was very pleasantly surprised by each and every dish!!!! The spices were unique and tasty. Those dishes intended to be spicy hot were most unique in that they use the sichuan peppercorn as the main source of the heat. I had never tried it before so the tingling/numbing sensation that comes with it was one of the most unique food experiences I have ever had. For those of you who are worried about too much spice, it did provide a bit of heat but not so much it ruined the food. The heat was not uncomfortably high and it did not last so long it became uncomfortable. I highly recommend this restaurant !!! And good news is you can eat as much or as little of the peppercorn as you want because it was easy enough to pick around them as well and still get a smaller spice sensation.

"Ma La" in Chinese means Numbness and Spiciness. For a good Sichuan restaurant you can't just have spicy but no numbness in your dish. This place uses good quality spices. Really recommend everyone just order less spicy for all the dishes. We ordered a ma po tofu with beef (the most signature dish for Sichuan restaurant) It's really good and have a nice kick. The combination Ma La dry pot also have a good numbness kick but mostly spicy. It's a dish with beef, chicken, shrimp with veggies. Peppercorn fish is more numb than spicy. The only small compliant is that the soup spicy soup is more like spicy spicy soup. It's better after we add vinegar to the soup. The ingredients are fresh and the portion are good. Most important is that they use real spices instead of additive flavor. The price is also very reasonable. Three dishes with one soup cost us $60 before tips. Recommend to people that enjoys Ma La. Let numbness and spiciness explode in your mouth but that doesn't hurt your stomach.

Great place for some Szechuan food in the energy corridor! The service was very quick (expected since I came on a Sunday at 2:30pm and it was pretty empty).Ordered the Dan Dan noodles and chili oil dumplings to start. Dan Dan noodles were okay, they could use a bit more flavor and I thought they would be dry noodles? Chili oil dumplings were good. The entrees are what really make this place so great. Ordered the amazing crispy fish and snow peas w/ garlic. Amazing crispy fish is as crispy as the name suggests! Fantastic crunch and lots of flavor! The snow peas w/ garlic were also super flavorful. Will definitely be coming back.

Food was excellent and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Specifically our server, Bill. GREAT service. Definitely will be back!

4th time here and continue to be impressed by the quality of food and service. The authentic Szechuan cuisine is definitely what I keep coming back.Restaurant decor is inviting, I particularly like the large mural in the main dining area. Dining area is clean and well maintained.

This place for sze chuan style food is one of the best in town. Very delicious.

Not impressed at all with this place. The asparagus chicken is water down. No flavor. The Dan Dan noodles were all knotted up. And pasty. The fried rice was greasy. The fried dumplings taste like they were sitting all day. First and last time we will go there. Plus the guy over the phone was about as bright as rhe person that made this food. Do not recommend this place at all.

We had the Combination rice noodle, the chicken lo Mein, the pork pan fried dumplings and the spring rolls. Every things was AMAZING.

If you like bland food, mediocre quality chicken, and mushy rice then this is the place for you. Easily one of the most dissatisfying meals I've had in my life. With a 4.5 star rating I was expecting top notch. I wish I could get my money back to be honest.

We had the Combination rice noodle, the chicken lo Mein, the pork pan fried dumplings and the spring rolls. Every thing was AMAZING. I'd give 10 stars if I could!
