great local small family run Chinese restaurant whole in wall specializing in roasted pork and duck as well as bbq meats. which is mainly the reason I frequent this place for their roast pork, best I ever have. very crisp skip and juicy meat.the have weekday lunch specials as well
Incredible is all I have to say. Their normal duck is better than other places Peking duck. Juicier and tastier. Everything is good. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!
I like this restaurant because it’s run by stoic women. Consistent friendly, fast service without any chit chat. You can eat alone or with company. The food always comes quickly and hot.Simple noodle dish: clear chicken stock, mustard green or 2 stems of Bok Choy, and Peking duck on egg noodles.CHECK OUT the BBQ pork: You have 2 options: red marinade or plain with crunch grind still on them. Pair that with a carbohydrate like rice or egg noodles and you are set my Friend!
Review is only for their roasted pork belly! Had to try their famous meat. Everyone raves of it online.Pork belly 5/5Nice crisp on skin. Good crunch but not break your jaw. I’m a fat kind of person so I love the even layer of meat and fat. It was so juicy and not overly salty.
One of the best roasted duck in town, much try when you here, cha siu and roasted pork here are really good too. One of the best old school Cantonese foods. Loved everything here.
Legit Cantonese food. Blown away by the simple flavor of snow pea tips. The intestines were done perfectly. Want to try more of their menu.
The Roasted Pork Belly is the BEST in Houston and so is the Roasted Duck! We also ordered Eggplants ? with salty fish and minced Chicken, Stirred Fried Bean Leaves are also delicious ?! Whole Flounder Fillets with mixed vegetables is another popular dish!
A hole in the wall authentic Chinese spot that takes cooking to a whole new level. Located in the former Vibe plaza this spot is refreshing gem that really puts quality cooking and flavors on the map. Best part of all the cost is super friendly. Has to be that way due to the intense completion on the Bellaire/Chinatown Chinese food front. Every time we come here there’s not a bad dish, not a bad flavor. Pro tip: carry out BBQ items are cash only.This is a pretty authentic Hong Kong style BBQ place, the crispy pork is near perfection, super crispy skin and pork to fat ratio spot on, too lean and no taste too fat is toooooo fat. ?We also like the roasted duck, nice crispy skin and full flavor. The char-siu is almost good, but almost too lean and need more honey flavor. Will like to try to eat their kitchen stuff on next visit.
Well so far my first time take out order was a great experience..I ordered the fried rice with broccoli, eggs, sausage and green onions and a side of Honey BBQ short ribs..My son ordered the Brisket Wonton soup.. Everything was tender and delicious ?? The staff was so very busy and getting things crossed up which is human...Other than that I will definitely be back at least once a month to try the crispy duck, never had duck before..Give this place a try..Fresh food. try the chr
