Tammy made us such an amazing grooms cake! We had more than enough cake for everyone and it was completely gone by the end of the night. Two months later, and I’m still getting compliments.Only complaint is that it was agreed that the dogs would be made of fondant and coming out of the top but instead she printed pictures of them and placed them on the front. Made the cake look a bit funny. Clearly that didn’t affect my rating since everything else was so tasty and spot on!? Courtney Leigh Photography
Hello I always like to write with you especially when I am 110% satisfied with the product and with the service and miss Tammy definitely delivers above standard high-quality cakes I work for a well-known Cadillac dealership and one of my clients had one of her wedding cakes from Tammy and raved about it..So I thought let me give it a try as a surprise birthday cake for my husband. We haven’t even tasted the cake yet and I have to tell you that I’m already telling all of my friends and showing photos of how beautiful this cake is if you were looking for someone that’s going to put their heart and soul into what you’re asking for definitely this is the place to come ! -Mrs. Williams
I had a family member call and make all the arrangements for the cake for my daughter's quinceanera and sweet sixteen. The cake itself was delicious, 5 stars. It was gorgeous and someone came on site to deliver and make final touches. The taste.... delicious!!! The look... gorgeous!!! The only reason I will not leave 5 stars is because of the phone interaction I had w owner or staff. Again, I wasn't the one who originally made the reservation/ order, it was a family member, but when I called to give details about the venue (address and time) the person who answered was short and blunt and basically refused to talk to me. She said she would call (family memeber) and get info from them. I am the mother of the birthday girls, and we were the ones who paid over 1k for the gorgeous cake, not the family member she wanted to speak to, and she didn't want to talk to me? I thought that was odd. I didn't want to argue and had so many other vendors to call I just let my family member deal w it. But the cake was delivered and the birthday girls and the guests enjoyed it. It was beautiful and delicious.
Mrs. Tammy was a joy to work with, she delivered excellence in her customer service, feedback & guidance. Our wedding cake was beyond beautiful, it exceeded our expectations for sure!
Mrs Tammy is amazing! I love sending my brides to her. She is so talented and has a huge passion for what she does. She’s sweet, pays attention to details, and the wants and needs of my clients. I’m personally in love with her amaretto (my personal fav). Her cakes are all ways so moist and good. I met this vendor, today at the Bridal Extravaganza. She was passing out samples of her cakes. Bottom line, the samples were dry and nothing special. More importantly, is what I saw happen to a Bridal Party standing ahead of us. They were rudely told that samples were given to the Bride, only. When one of the Bridesmaids asked for a single sample for their child in attendance, she was rudely told “no”, then the vendor looked to the line of potential customers and made a face reflecting her annoyance and disbelief. It appeared she was looking for our understanding and support. I couldn’t believe she was willing to offend other Brides, their Bride Tribes, Mothers and Family Members-all of which are HER potential customers! Who does she thinks influences the Bride!!! In many cases, the MOB & FOB are paying for that cake she’s trying to sale!!! Why would she want to offend or leave the people influencing the Bride, out of the sampling!!! Clearly this business is in financial distress, as a person interested in generating revenue would be an expert at “customer service” and engaging their potential clients…, and the people that influence their decisions! As for me, I was disgusted and horrified! My daughter is having a traditional wedding, with all the bells and whistles. I NEED multiple cakes, as they will be the centerpiece for multiple events; The Engagement Party, Bridal Shower, Bachelor/Bachelorette Party, Mother’s Tea, Father’s Whiskey & Cigars, Bridesmaid Luncheon, Grooms Fishing Trip, The Rehearsal Dinner, The Grooms Cake & THE WEDDING CAKE!!!! She had access to every person influencing that Bride or the individuals that were in charge of any given event! Call me crazy, but I believe it is in a vendors best interest to engage with everyone and generously sample your product! OR DON’T DO IT AT ALL! Most cake vendors simply displayed their cakes. I can only imagine the nightmare and conflict of how a mishap would be handled. Despite wanting all TX businesses to prosper-when a vendor resorts to arguing and humiliating a Bridal Party over a few spoonfuls of cake, I wouldn’t risk my event or my sanity, using this vendor. I hope someone can explain, the pennies she is fighting to save have probably cost her thousands in sales!
Delicious cakeShared photo of cake design accepted & approvedAt owners request delivered silk flowers one month before wedding. Upon delivery of cake, day of wedding, it had one flower. Shocked at finished product, I called & my flowers were never found but they did come to site to decorate cake while guests had already arrived. Needless to say, it was nothing like the decorated cake agreed upon. Very disappointing. This has bothered me for quite some time & only now submitting review. I was asked what I expected as a recovery for error & tone was not very compassionate. Why couldn’t they offer a solution to make up for their error. My flowers weren’t even used to decorate my cake. My expectation was to receive the cake I ordered period. The damage was done. Nothing they could offer would erase the disappointment. They comped me 2 doz cupcakes for a shower. Again cake was delicious but please make sure you inspect cake before they drive off.
This may sound dramatic, but this cake touched our souls, ha! The cake was beautiful, moist and even better, it was the talk of the night! Tammy was very knowledgeable and was able to guide us to the look/feel we wanted. Thank you, Tammy, for putting so much love into your work! We definitely tasted it!
Tammy was AMAZING to work with. We walked into her shop without an appointment and she accommodated an impromptu cake tasting and we fell in love. She was the first vendor we booked so we were lost and she gave us a lot of great wedding planning advice. We rescheduled our wedding due to COVID and she was VERY accommodating. Sadly this is not something we experienced with some of our other vendors. She created a small cake for our wedding ceremony on 8/8/20 and a large wedding cake/groom's cake for our wedding reception on 9/11/21. The cakes were PERFECT and we got a lot of compliments from our guests! My husband and I both went to UT and we asked if she could recreate the UT tower and she nailed it. Can't say enough positive things about Wedding Cakes by Tammy Allen! Book her!
Tammy Allen and her crew are amazing. They aim to please their clients and deliver in every way. The cakes are delicious and uniquely created with mouth watering flavors. My cake was a huge hit at my wedding. My guests raved about it all night and days following the wedding. I highly recommend this talented group of bakers.
