Ordered a Mangonada and I must say I was disappointed! It did not taste like anything at all! Absolutely no flavor. Definitely not worth $10.00!!! The snow cone places have better ones for $3!!! Discouraged me from ordering anything else. The place was dirty, and the floor was beyond sticky!
Pretty cool place, first time going. The frozen drinks were decent, would definitely recommend adding a shot into it. I liked the blue dream with a dark rum the most. Switched to your standard vodka/cranberry after. Food was bomb! Especially the hush puppies!
Delicious *strong* drinks, pool tables and air hockey add a lot…usually pretty chill, occasionally packed on weekends as the word is out about this place.
drink are cool. daquiris good. service good. food ehh. i got tenders and shrimp nashville hot. not spicy at all. tater tots wayyyyyyyy too salty. couldnt even eat more than 10 of them n that was me seeing if some were more salty than others. hush puppies got corn in it and has a weird flavor to it. wasnt a fan. the tenders n shrimp were okay i guess. skin was coming off of both of them but not nearly as spicy as the tots.
Loooove this place! I got the Category 13 (a Hurricane) and it was delicious. Great bartenders and excellent selection of drinks.
My sole purpose for visiting this place was to try the daiquiris. Voodoo Queen is in a nice location and offers pool tables, juke box, bar, and games. However, my first time experience was a shock when I was told you had to order food in order to purchase daiquiri to go. The quality of the daiquiri was not strong enough. If you are looking for strong daiquiris please try another spot.
New favorite! Great food and drinks. I love the style and the crowd are my kind of people. It does lack the smokey atmosphere I once cherished in a dive but... no, this place is rad. Great place to take your tattooed hottie on a date.
One of the best spots for the locals. Great drinks and very good food. Classic jukebox, pool tables and air hockey. Plenty of outdoor seating as well. Laid back and casual
it's a bar for emo/hardcore kids. fun to people watch. easy to be sober at since they offer food. my bf got the shrimp and chicken tenders nashville hot and he said it was the perfect amount of spice, he grew up eating cajun food. cool games, cute aquarium, and super kind and helpful bartenders.
Hands down one of my favorite places in 2nd Ward. The atmosphere is fun and chill. The pool tables are great as is the patio. My favorite things there are the frozen drinks served as slushies and the food. I've sometimes just come here for the tinders and fries or the PO boys. It's a good time you can't go wrong.
