Excellent customer service!!!! I've been here several times and this particular day my son and I received amazing customer services from the employees. One of the employees saw my son and asked him what's his name, favorite color and if he likes sprinkles. Then the employee went to the back room and made a special donut for my son. He was really happy!!!!My favorite donuts are the Homer and the Glazed (I like simple donuts).Thank you Voodoo Doughnut my making our day!!!
This was our first time visiting Voodoo Doughnuts. They have some really creative choices - doughnuts topped with bubblegum, candy, cereal, etc. We went for some of their more simple classic choices - the Chocolate Ring which was a raised doughnut glazed with chocolate icing, the Homer which was pink iced with sprinkles, and a plain glazed. There's a rotating carousel that shows all the doughnut options. There are vegan options available. The doughnuts were good, but very big, almost oversized, and extremely sweet. If that's your thing, you'd be happy with the choices here. They also have some really unconventional doughnuts - shaped like marijuana cigarettes, male anatomy, etc. Seems more like a place you would go to after a night of college clubbing or have for a bachelorette party. Probably best to leave the kids at home for this one. My husband asked for the code to use the restroom, and they told him 420666. I'm sure the college kids get a chuckle out of that. Seems like they're trying hard to keep the place offbeat.
We went in for some late night desserts and I'm so glad we chose vodoo doughnuts. This place doesn't disappoint. It's a doughnut heaven and you will not regret trying this place. We tried their Maple cream doughnut which is stuffed with Bavarian cream, and coated with maple goodness. It's literally among the best things I've ever tasted. We also tried their cinnamon sugar doughnut and their classic chocolate one. Both weren't excessively sweet and tasted delicious. Cannot wait to visit them again!
What a cute atmosphere! “Pretty in pink” vibes. The names of the donuts make you giggle. The flavors are insane. I love the variety. I got the yummy Dirt donut and it tasted amazing! Will definitely be coming back to try other flavors!
Love this doughnut shop! I highly recommend their raised glazed yeast donut! Having eaten many donuts in my life, this ranks high on my list.

Their ethereal donuts will encchant you into the next realm of pastry induced food comas and keep you coming back like a zombie for more. The taste borders on the ethereal and seggsual. These folks are stoned, stoned, stoned. Just as the name implies. If you come here, be prepared to stay a while, check your order, and count your change. But don’t be angry with the staff! After all, YOU decided to try a place called VOODOO DOUGHNUTS.
Overall the donuts were pretty good. I ate them around 11am, and felt like the topics were a bit soft, perhaps from being out for a bit. The captain crunch didn't crunch and the Oreos were soft, but either way, the flavor was there, and still enjoyed stuffing these donuts in my mouth hole.
If you love doughnuts-you have to stop in and try these. They’re huge but so good. Alex hooked us up with suggestions to try as we’re not from the area. Plus the coffee was a good brew. Much needed if you’re selling doughnuts. Only complaint is I can’t get these in NYC-they would put Dunkin to shame for real!
We moved from the Pacific Northwest and after going to the original Voodoo in Portland, I was very excited to see 2 locations in Houston. The doughnuts are humongous and so delicious. Grape ape and the maple bar are my favorites, yummy ?
