I got the stir fried lobster with ginger. It was delicious! The lobster was overcooked, but that might be because I did takeout. The coconut juice was also really fresh and refreshing. I would definitely check this place out if you are in the area.

I have been coming to Vietopia for years, first at their old location and now at their new location. The owners are truly the nicest and most generous people! The food is always fresh, fast, and the restaurant is very clean. I love that they give back to the community by holding their annual Lunar New Year celebration with lion dancers, and they have given countless donations to our children's school whenever we have asked. While the food at Vietopia is perfect for lunch, it's also great for dinner whenever I don't feel like cooking. Thank you, Sammi!!

Grilled Pork Phó & Meat Trio Phó are amazing! I love the big portions. Ingredients are always so fresh and they stay open late.

Quality is ok but it’s really overpriced for what you get. Both of the tofu dishes were $16 for 12 small pieces of tofu. And the rice was half filled! I understand inflation but this is a rip-off when you compare to other Vietnamese/Chinese restaurants in the area. Won’t be back.

The service is my favorite part! Everyone is so kind and personable. They seem to really like their jobs! Food was also delicious! There is a fairly large menu with plenty of options. I stuck with the usual (shrimp vermicelli) and my boyfriend got his usual (chicken yellow coconut curry). I liked his plate more. If you like curry, you have to try it. It is a little on the sweet side and I simply love it! Also the drinks are quite good! Usually strong as well so definitely worth the money. However, these things do add up quickly. We paid over 100 for an appetizer, dish, 1 or 2 drinks each for two people.

The dinner was very tasty and ambience was great! We tried coconut curry tofu and a different styled tofu stir fry (which was delicious). Giving 4 stars because of banana fried icecream, which was not very good in taste.

First, but for sure not last time visiting Vietopia.Came with some friends for the Lunar Year celebration and show! It was so much fun to see the Lion dance. The food was incredible. Everything we tried was delicious. Wish I would have taken pictures. The duxk baos come to mind as well as the super crispy calamri. Great drinks as well, Michael is a great bartender.Fun environment. Lots of families. Highly recommend!

I have been going to Vietopia for over 15 years and have always had a great experience. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly and attentive. You have to try it!

This is my favorite restaurant in Houston. The food is excellent and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are well taken care of. Make sure to say hi to Sammi. She is the secret sauce of the place. ?Update: I came back for Chinese New Year and they went all out bringing out the best dragons of the New Year! The Peking Duck is tender and oh so delicious. Michael served us the best drinks and made sure we were well cared for. Perfect host! This place is a definite “go to” in Houston,

First time here and probably last. Was seated behind the fish tank and often overlooked/forgotten about. My server was tending to a large party in the middle of the room. The restaurant was not busy. My drink was constantly needing refilled and after finishing my meal it took a good 7-8 minutes before he asked if I wanted more tea. I replied I’d like the check and a coffee to go, he brought the coffee but no check. The next time I got his attention (4-5 minutes later) I asked for the check to which he told me he keeps forgetting about me because I’m so quiet. I don’t think I was hard to see. The food was good. The sanitizer on my table had gel caked up on the pump/spout - I didn’t want to use it. Overall I would have rather tried a different place.
