Visiting Houston, found this little spot.1. The customer service is impeccable. The wonderful people at the counter were attentive and courteous, made sure my donuts were fresh and warm.2. The DONUTS. I haven’t had a Bavarian Cream filled donut or a chocolate sprinkle in YEARS. When I bit into these donuts, I was worried - because there’s NO way something this delicious was seriously vegan. No weird after taste, no gritty mouth feel, no moment in time where you go “ah yes this tastes LIKE a donut, but made with substitute ingredients.”This IS the real thing.If you’re in Houston, passing through, or just looking for a delicious treat, DEFINITELY get to this place.
Absolutely amazing donuts and fried rice. I would highly recommend you get here early as they sell out every day. I wish we found this place sooner. The vegan donuts are the best I’ve ever had.
Wonderful donuts, lovely creamy Gelato with light coconut flavor to each. The veggie hotdog kolache was the biggest pleasant surprise. The texture of it was the best veggie dog I've ever had and the jalapeños made it even better! Prices are higher than your average donut shop, but that is to be expected when their raw ingredients are more expensive to buy. The vegan Jerky they carry is also surprisingly good.
Delicious you will never know the difference. my granddaughter ♥️ the chocolate one with sprinkles. She still don’t know they are vegan. Lol The guy who rung us up was kind of stiff at first not to friendly ? but we made him loosen up by keeping happy and positive energy ?
Always fresh and amazing. A donut shop like no other...not only because it's all vegan...but because of the variety and selection and amazing kolaches. Non-vegans would never be able to tell the difference and, as such, I have plenty of non-vegan friends who love and appreciate Vegan Donut & Gelato.
Hard to believe for me that vegan confections historically created with milk and eggs, could taste even better than there counterparts. But these blokes at the bakery got the magic mojo to craft delights that exceed expectations, and they do consistently. Give these guys a try

The food is always delicious and everyone here is always so nice. I called to ask if they had an gluten-free donuts ready and they made what I wanted. I also love that they have vegan snacks to choose from.
This place is AMAZING!!! I've been meaning to try it out for a while and finally did today. I had the lean sausage and cheese kolache and my husband had the soy chorizo kolache. The glazed donut was also very good! We are definitely coming back soon!
