Mama, what a good first stop on my Houston Restaurant Weeks tour. I knew from the warm greeting by Robert that this was going to be a great meal. At $39 this meal didn't disappoint at all. The fried green tomato stack was the sleeper hit and probably my favorite part. In fairness, I was soon too stuffed to finish my dinner or dessert.I would definitely return.Pro Tip: if you are trying to avoid a crowd Tuesday nights at 6:30pm give you the ability to social distance cause it isn't as busy.
Chill spot with some delicious food!! Nice outdoor seating that’s dog friendly. Close to the Buffalo Bayou park, so we like to stop by here after a nice walk!
Went for dinner on a Friday night. Downstairs in the grocery with patio dining, if want the restaurant you walk up the stair located in the back around the checker out counter. Have both inside and outside eating. We chose to sit outside, as it is covered and fans are blowing I had the 1/4 chicken with spinach and cauliflower and my husband got the grilled chicken goat cheese salad Both were decent portions, and tasted excellent. The chicken is bone in of course, so it is a little hard to eat with knife and fork, but tasted great. My husbands salad was large and the goat cheese on the toasted was good. We also got an order of the savory monkey bread with was soft and warm. also tried their bread pudding and chocolate brownie for dessert. Both were excellent. The drip coffee was good, but was only warm when we got it, as I prefer mine hot. Service was good. Good selection of wine, and beer was well as cocktails. Free parking, but it is limited. Will go back
We brought my mom and Aunt here for mother's day brunch and the food was so delicious! There was a bit of a wait, but the customer service was excellent and they comped us an appetizer for the wait. Our waiter was great and the atmosphere is chill and laid back. I will definitely visit here again ??*pictured is pancakes with peanut butter praline syrup with scrambled eggs and bacon (if you like peanut brittle, then you will like the syrup) and chicken and pancakes
Food was delicious! I was hungry & was very satisfied with the portions. Waiter was nice and attentive. I got the shorty and grits and I would order it again it was that good. My pear-fection cocktail was good too. My husband tried the sliders.
an amazing spot tucked in Houston! it is so cute and is broken into 2 parts: bottom being market and top being restaurant! the food is truly so so fresh and the menu is vast with choices! the waitress was so sweet and we were able to choose where we sat. the fish was cooked amazingly and their lunch combos are tier 1!p a r k i n g:the parking here is very limited. please keep that in mind if planning on dining here, they have a small parking area outside and are able to park around the side! we went on a Wednesday which helped.
Really nice eatery, the food was delicious and the mimosas are bomb. Located in the Heights area. There’s a nice covered patio if you choose to eat outside.
Nice outdoor seating and great food. We like to get the sliders
Although I like the other food I’ve tried, the vegetarian breakfast pie was not great. It was filled with a mass of soft scrambled eggs, spinach, and shallots with some cheese on top. Pretty sure the menu said it was sautéed, but it was just a huge, wet, unseasoned blob on a strange, also soft pastry. What might have added flavor was the side of sausage gravy they gave me, but what use is that for a vegetarian?
One of my favorite places to go. It's trendy and while I know there are fancier places....there are NO places that serve better or fresher foods. You know when you're eating their food it's been made with ingredients they purchased recently and nothing tastes pre frozen ever. Good prices also. One of their specialties is sliders. Best sliders I ever had. You won't be disappointed.
