Love coming to Uchi! My favorite place to get sushi in the city. Will forever be a customer and recommend to all my friends!
I was recommended Uchi by a client and managed to get two seats at the sushi counter. We sampled half the menu and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and flavours. I live in London and have travelled significantly and been fortunate to have eaten at many top sushi restaurants. Uchi is top tier with world-class food. The open kitchen and authentic feel was great and service matched. Only in Houston for four days this trip but back tomorrow for dinner and will be a top choice on next trip and recommendation to others. Well done to the owners/chefs/team - great job.
Food and service were great but prices are a bit too high. Parking is terrible.
Service as alwaysâ¦..Outstanding!. Uchi is our favorite restaurant in Houston, there are a lot of restaurants in Houston so it is saying something with my comments. I generally order omakase which is chefs choiceâ¦.would have preferred more sushi in the mix. This is on me because I did not ask the right questionsâ¦.I know betterâ¦..Enjoy and make sure you articulate your preferences when ordering this awesome dish.
Had an amazing meal. The chefs signature Omakase 10 course tasting menu is beyond words and every bite was more delicious than the last. The service was equally impressive and all were gracious hosts. What a great memory we will have of this evening!
My family and I did not feel it was even close to receiving the value for what we paid. Total meal was$700+ and we left hungry. We actually went across the street to Velvet Taco because everyone was hungry.
The food was amazing but our waiter Matt really brought the whole experience together, he made some spectacular suggestions and really took the night to the next level. Would highly recommend Uchi.
We had the most amazing dinner last night with Matt. His recommendations were some of our favorites and dishes we would not have tried without his advice. The drinks were yummy and the candy bar dessert may be in the top 2 fav desserts ever ever!
The food was fresh and tasty! Better then get expected! Koi was our server and she did an excellent job on preparing the food!
