Amazing fried chicken. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed the vibe of the open dining area. The staff hung out a lot in the kitchen area, but did walk around to check on drinks and. Needs. The chicken was delicious and juicy. The coating was super crispy and tasty. Loved the level of spice. Dang hot was actually perfect, even though we like super spicy levels. The Clucking hot was also very good and enjoyed kicking it up a notch. The chocolate pie was really good and had a proper level of sweetness. The buttermilk pie was tasty but way too sweet and was not light enough. Needed a more flan type of nature. The bathrooms were single person. They were clean and seemed maintained.Enjoyed the experience. Great for a meal with friends or family.
Man, y'all have to try this place.I got the 2 piece with collard greens and slaw. And I just had to try the pulled chicken and fries. It was the spicy one. I'd have to find the menu to get the name. It has a faint hit of horse radish in the sauce.Do yourself a favor and just go get some chicken. I'm going to try the mo hot chicken next time. You won't be disappointed.
Pretty good hot chicken and great service! Our server was very attentive and she provided a good description of each spice level for the chicken. The tenders are huge. We could have ordered the two piece tenders in lieu of the three piece and it would have been more than enough.I had the the Mo’ Hot and it had just enough spice to where it was still enjoyable. My better half got the Cluckin’ Hot and he was suffering a bit. He still enjoyed the chicken, but you’ve got to like spice if you want that heat level. If we had room for dessert, we would have liked to try some pie!
Honestly, I knocked a star off because it felt like they were understaffed. We went in on a Thursday night a little before 8pm and it took about 5 minutes before anyone came up to the hostess stand. Had they been busy/looked busy I think it would've felt different but they had maybe 5 tables with people... Also, once we were seated refills were slow to come out/we only saw the server for the food order/delivery/check.That being said, the food was yummy! I loved the chicken tenders and dirty Mac 'n cheese. My fiance order the OG Chicken Sandwich at Dang Hot and said it was really good and almost too hot, which is impressive! This is probably his new favorite place!I really liked the food and the atmosphere was good. I would definitely come back, and I'm sure we will both be back!
Delicious food! Love their OG sandwich and the salad and...everything else.
The food here is meh. Don't get me wrong, it looks great on the plate, I mean IG worthy. But it aint got no flavor. I got the 3rd from the hottest coating on my chicken thighs and it was nothing! I don't just mean no spicy heat, but no flavor at all in general. The mac & cheese taste like, well, cheese. The best thing was the fried pickles. The food WAS hot to be fair, but as far as going back, unless they get some seasonings back there in the kitchen, nah.
Service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious!I appreciated when ordering that the server made sure to advise as to what each heat level was equivalent to in the pepper world (ex. Jalapeño, Serrano) so we didn't get anything too spicy for us.The pickle fries were so good and the shape was fun and unique compared to normal fried pickles...they were actually fry shaped!Everything we ordered got to us quickly and seemed super fresh. They have a great patio too!
I would love to give a good review and I’m sure the food is great but the “service” we had today was horrid. As we walked in we spoke to a hostess who asked us if we had masks. We did not and we asked why we needed them when everyone else inside and outside did not have one on. She told us we needed them to walk around. As we were stood next to 2 bar chairs we asked if we could sit there and she said “yes” and then mumbled something about going to do something. At the bar no one had masks on. After a while a very assertive and abrupt lady came out and was asking us questions to almost make us lie. She said we cannot be seated without a mask. We said we weren’t seated, we asked if we could sit in the chairs we were stood against and were told yes. Then she said well you’ll need to leave. And we said why since we are sat down and have ordered and everyone else sat down did not have a mask. She said we cannot serve you and you cannot use the restroom and then she gave us an attitude head shake and facial expression and had to tell us again that we could not move, as if we were children. If this situation had been dealt with in a more discreet, mature, understanding nature I’m sure we would have felt less attacked and persecuted and more understanding, however we decided to leave as we did not want to give out its earned money to an establishment and staff that can’t even speak to customers with respect. They also turned away another couple while we were there. They did not even offer for them, or us, to be seated outside - again where no one was wearing a mask. The photo shows how close to the door we were inside of where we sat and were ask to leave from
Staff is quick, courteous, and responsive. Management on all fronts is attentive and is about 10/10, I am pleased with the food quality and the time it took for the food to arrive, it’s all local farm raised chicken so it’s easy on the stomach. They are police and military friendly and I will be back with friends and family
1st and last time we will be at this place.. service was horrible.. food was not all that.. we would of been better off going to Raising Caines..
