The best bar B Que in my opinion. I crave their food lol ?? the BIG J is my favorite. Baked potato with 3meats. Go check them out
Stopped in kinda by accident, but what a treat!Got the “Triple J”- brisket, sausage, 2 ribs. All incredible! Brisket was nice and juicy, excellent flavor. Ribs were very tasty. And the sausage was the best.Friendly and efficient staff, top notch all around and highly suggested.
The first time we ever tried Triple J's was at their rodeo booth. Every year since then we've gone back to their booth. The BBQ is perfection. The service is fast and friendly and the prices are competitive and legit good for the amount and quality of food you are given. My husband and I decided we needed to find their place so we made the trip out there today...the line was out the door...which tells you how good they are. But it took us maybe 10 minutes in line before we ordered and were given our food! While we were waiting in line, an employee approached us and greeted us while asking if it was our first time there. He joked with us and our boys and got us even more excited about the food. It didn't disappoint! Thanks Triple J's for an overall excellent experience. Keep up the good work! BTW...we ordered the Triple J baked potato with beef on top...the BEST!
So this one is a little unique on the list of places I have been. I didn't actually get to eat here! The restaurant is a little BBQ place at the entrance to a neighborhood and at then end of industrial zoning. Don't let that scare you away, the area isn't bad and the surrounding wasn't what you'd expect either.Anyway, it was a Saturday and I was surprised there was actual parking in the small lit behind the restaurant. Getting out of the vehicle the air smelled so delicious with that sweet smoke from the wood used to fire the meat.Walking inside....that's where I saw a line of 20 people. The food is served in a line much like a Lubys and the food looked exceptional! We stood in line for a few minutes but unfortunately we had another appointment to get to and had to leave. BUT, this place is high on the list of places I want to experience. We will be back! A+
Called at 4 pm to see what time grill closes the last told me 530 pm went up there at 4:15 pm stood in line for 40 min when I get up there to order my burgers they tell me they stopped at 5 pm even though I was in line I just missed out. Never again so I ordered a two meat plate with brisket and sausage all that fat on my brisket..
I rate a restaurant on 3 fundamental pointsCustomer Service, The Food, and the price. The service sucks, being that I stood on line for nearly an hour on Saturday afternoon. It was my first visit. I tried calling the restaurant to place my order to go while on line, but was told they don't take phone orders. I ordered the 3 meat plate ribs, brisket and sausage with beans and potato salad. It was about $20 dollars which I found reasonable. The food was not exceptional in fact it was below average. When I consider the amount of time I stood there waiting to be served I feel ripped off.If the meats wasn't bad enough the sides were disgraceful. The beans were obviously canned and I don't know what that was they gave me but they call it potato salad..See Photo. It wasa watery, gooey disgusting mess and went straight into the trash. I have had better bbq in a TV dinner. So, I won't be back here...y'all can keep this mess for those that don't know better.
So I have to start off with the fact that the line was wrapped throughout the restaurant and almost out the door on a Saturday at 12:30pm so just be aware lol I didn’t know this place sooooooo poppin until I got there. I happened to be driving by but holy moly I got the sliced brisket sandwich, the big j baked potato, and a side of baked beans. So freaking good.Okay the potato was two meals and I am just so happy with this whole meal. I wanna go back but I’m impatient for lines so I’m gonna try to figure out when they have a slow period.Anyways super yummy. If someone asks you to take them to a bbq place in Houston that’s actually good. Go here!
Have had Triple J's at the rodeo a few times. Had the baked potato with chopped beef, sausage, and a rib. The rib was cooked perfect! Not falling off the bone overcooked, PERFECT! Ya bite, no pull, no extra fall off. Perfect! From a portable pit at a food truck! Amazing taste! Thank y'all!
You will not be disappointed. Only downfall is the long line. But it moves surprisingly fast. But it's worth the wait. I've been in love with Triple J's since they were in a small building on Lockwood. Although the price has gone up. The quality or quantity of food you get WILL NOT disappoint you.
Everything is perfect the food is so good the atmosphere feels like home you can feel so welcoming yes it has a line but I tell you it is worth the wait . you know they have inspiring quotes hanging on the walls that in some way touched my heart I recommend this place 100%
