First time trying waffle bus. They have a unique menu and prices are not too bad. Ordered the big cheesy, macdaddy hot chicken sandwich, hot mess fries and Nutella banana waffle. Everything we had tasted great. This location is clean with plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. Customer service was a bit off. The cashier seemed like she didn’t want to be there. Uninterested in conversing about the menu or experience.
This place lives up to the incredible photos on their social media! We ordered the crazy mac n cheese burger, Nashville hot chicken waffle sandwich, and sweet smores waffle sandwich! Incredible!
I was excited to try waffle bus out- waffle with chicken or fruit is my sort of food. I got the chicken waffle and a strawberry chocolate ganache waffle. It looks really good at first…. And it was good that first bite too. But the second bite and after was really lack luster. The chicken waffle was too salty. I really want to like it but this is not for me. The strawberry waffle was good but nothing special about it. Comparing this to the crepe at sweet paris, I could tell sweet paris is on a whole other level. It is good that I tried this but I wouldn’t come back.
This was actually my first time at this restaurant. My son spoke very highly of it so I was super excited about the experience. Needless to say I was very disappointed. Let me first start with the young lady taking the order was very helpful HOWEVER the pick up station was rude, gossiping amongst themselves & very dismissive of my concerns ….. my fries were ice cold, our chicken was reheated, my waffle was cold as well. I asked for fresh Fries, she dug in my bag pulling out the fries. When I check my sandwich it was dry. I went to the bus where there the water cooler gossip was taking place, asked about the sauce she was so rude saying I asked for it on the side. Which I did not. Even If I had there was no sauce in the bag. She back handed the sauce to me dismissively. It was NOT a pleasant experience. Did I mention the bathroom was very dirty. We paid for $50 for our lunch to be greeted with cold food and attitude. I won’t be back!
Taste average for the waffles but I really like the fried from here... but anyway there is still a great place that provides waffles and drinks for people who wish to hang around with.
Honestly, I feel like their menu could use improvement. I ordered an Angus burger and the hot wings with waffles. I thought the Angus burger would be savory but it was sweet instead, if the menu had descriptors of how the food taste it would be immensely better. Their hot wings are hot just for the hell of it, which isn't bad but it has no flavor other than spicy. I can see that it might be good for some ppl, but if you like savory then this ain't the place.
Always loved visiting the Waffle Bus when it was a food truck - the new stop is even better with a larger menu, cereal + milk ice cream, and plenty of on-site parking.
The variety of things you can pair up with waffles is enormous. The spicy chicken sandwich (wafflewich) I had was pretty good and the Banana Cream dessert waffle was solid, but I feel I must not have tried their best items yet. Good service, though it took a minute for my simple order to be ready. I'll be back to try more items on the menu.
The food is good. But I ordered a chicken sandwich with Pickles and got charged 50 cents. My friend got the same chicken sandwich and asked for Pickles on the side and she got way more and didn't pay for them. I don't mind paying but they need to be fair across the board.
We love this place. Either location you go to will not fail you with great food and service.
