Food is delicious and amazing. I would highly recommend the MacDaddy with the biscuits as is one of the softest biscuits I've ever had. Also a must get is the fruity pebble milkshake that goes perfect with the spiciness of the sandwich. I've been coming to this restaurant since it's open and I have noticed that the quantity (smaller piece of chicken now) has gone down recently and that might be due to the rising prices of everything but still a great meal to get any day of the week.
My siblings and I saw this place on tik tok and thought we’d give it a try but, we were sadly disappointed. My oldest brother got the spicy chicken waffle Sandwich and he didn’t receive the sauce he asked which he wasn’t bothered by. The sandwich was filling yet bland. The sauce was not it either, we asked for Buffalo sauce 3 times and all times we received Louisiana hot sauce. After that my brother went back for Buffalo ranch sauce the worker mixed the hot sauce with ranch which was not ideal. My little brother is upset his sauce was cold and not Buffalo sauce like he asked for to top off the cake he says it was really greasy.I would not recommend this place sadly but, I really wanted it to work. There are also a plethora of flies flying around the establishment.
Okay, let's get into it!!!The BUS is BUSSIN!!!!This was literally one of my first stops when I moved to H-Town. This place is still on my list of favorites!!I'm not normally a milkshake person. However, their milkshakes looked so good. So I tried them. The cinnamon toast crunch and the fruitty pebbles are my favorites so far.I also always get the loaded waffle fries because they are just so darn good. The spicy one is my favorite. I plan to visit their new location in Houston. When I go there, I will venture out and try something new on their menu.P.S. This place is almost ALWAYS packed with a line out the door. So, ordering ahead for pick up is recommended if you're in a rush.
I was in The Heights for yoga and worked up an appetite. I got on Google and lo and behold this was within walking distance. Since I'd been meaning to try them from back when they were solely a bus, it felt like a no brainier.This is a cashless establishment so bring your card! There are two tablets for customers to place their own orders but there was also someone there in the other side of the counter to assist if necessary.I ordered the Smashburger on a brioche bun, small, seasoned waffle fries, and a strawberries and cream waffle sandwich. Everything was amazing! The burger is exactly what I'm looking for when I say I just want a simple burger. The party wasn't too thick and the toppings weren't overpowering. It had cheese, grilled onions, pickles, and a special sauce but those simple ingredients were done right! I ate every bite. The small fries were the perfect size when you're not trying too overdo it. They said those fries were seasoned and they did not tell a lie! I didn't even need ketchup! Also, my cup was filled with full sized fries and not a bunch of crumbs inside.That strawberries and cream waffle sandwich was the truth! The waffle was perfect. The strawberries were fresh. The sweet cream, caramel, and whipped cream held up beautifully--and I do mean beautifully. The way it was put together, it deserves a photoshoot.This was my first visit but it won't be my last.
So the food is phenomenal, but be prepared to wait entirely too long. Yeah, everything is super fresh and definitely cooked to order. But the employees (at least the ones I can see in the front of house) have absolutely no sense of urgency. Pretty much everyone in there orders ice cream. So tell me why there are two people just literally standing at the front counter laughing and playing while this one guy is swamped with all the ice cream orders? Y’all could help out.

This was actually my first time at this restaurant. My son spoke very highly of it so I was super excited about the experience. Needless to say I was very disappointed. Let me first start with the young lady taking the order was very helpful HOWEVER the pick up station was rude, gossiping amongst themselves & very dismissive of my concerns ….. my fries were ice cold, our chicken was reheated, my waffle was cold as well. I asked for fresh Fries, she dug in my bag pulling out the fries. When I check my sandwich it was dry. I went to the bus where there the water cooler gossip was taking place, asked about the sauce she was so rude saying I asked for it on the side. Which I did not. Even If I had there was no sauce in the bag. She back handed the sauce to me dismissively. It was NOT a pleasant experience. Did I mention the bathroom was very dirty. We paid for $50 for our lunch to be greeted with cold food and attitude. I won’t be back!

Love the concept. The present of the food waa pretty, yet average. I am so glad we tried the Waffle Bus. The Strawberry Creme Waffle was really good. The kids enjoyed the food. I recommend coming as soon as they open. This place gets extremely crowded FAST...
Nice establishment and small for such high traffic. Parking lot is tiny and line is to the door. The food isnt fantastic, but it's good. The Mac and chicken combination was a perfect pair. The strawberry dessert waffle was cool to & I couldn't complain about the chicken cause it was tasty
