They might of been great empanadas (as show on the other's Billboard photo) at one time. Our empanadas dough were bubbled which means left too long on the frying pan. The English had no flavor, had to add tabletop sauce to give it some. I've had empanadas from many countries throughout my life...I think it's the hype and marketing of the previous generation word of mouth than flavor. The service however 5 stars all the way...but, food matters. Ask for the churrasco steak, better choice.
Hands down, best food I have had in a while. The environment makes you feel like you are at home. We will be back. Marcello's Deli is a great sandwich by the way.

There is literally no other place that sells empanadas like this one. And I've tried many empanadas spots in multiple states and come up empty. Nothing compares to Marini's. In taste, quality, options or customer service. This family owned restaurant literally makes you feel like family. This place is a must go. I do NOT leave Houston without getting Marinis EVER.

My spicy meat empanada was cooked to perfection with the dough was nice and flaky and the in small chunks extremely tender and full of flavor! Another Triple D winner
Amazing. The owner was actually making the empanadas. He was very nice to talk too. They come out fresh and hot. You can taste the love in them. They are huge for the price, I couldn’t even eat them all. I just ate half of each one and took the rest home and had to eat the next day. They told me to just put them in the air fryer and it worked. It baked them well
Yummy - Homemade and made to order Empanadas both Savory & Sweet and multiple sizes to choose from. Eat them there or get them to go. Bon Appetit!!! ???
