Hello, My name is Jay, and I recently had a business trip that brought me to the Moran CityCenter. Amy was a breath of fresh air after a long drive in from out of town. Kind and very generous with her time for my endless questioning. Vanessa assisted me late one evening and went out of her way to make sure my coworker and myself had as quality an experience as possible. She was willing to make an exception for us with our late check-out requests to ensure our stay was savored. If the rest of the staff is as kind, patient and attentive as Amy & Vanessa, then the Moran should be a destination for any work trip oasis. Kudos to you both and your management team for recognizing the right type of service-oriented people to hire to represent the Moran.
The hotel was in a great location, pretty central to all of the places I needed and wanted to see. The hotel was beautiful, clean, staff were all amazing and friendly. If I were to return to Houston I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel again. Fantastic experience!!
Is super well located and a lot of food and shopping around the hotel. Courtesy from the staff is stellar! Special shout-out to Collins from the valet/shuttle staff. He is very kind and super professional.
Stayed in a suite with an adjoining room, to accommodate our young family. Hotel is nice and clean, open and airy, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast, which was included, was very good. Pool is nice, although microscopically small, with very limited seating. Hotel is very well situated for a stroll around the Citycentre area, which is most pleasant of an evening, with different eating/drinking/shopping options. Overall, we liked the hotel, but we are conscious that the pricing of rooms is not particularly attractive, and there are better deals available on suites in the Houston area, at hotels which are at least as nice and upscale and luxurious as this one.
The hotel location is very good, with lots of eateries and shopping in walking distance. Also they provided a shuttle bus to my place of work, so that was really convenient. Special shout out to the night porter and shuttle bus driver Collins. Very friendly and helpful, just like all the staff. I think the receptionist t was called Jasmine and she was excellent- provided best places to eat based on what my needs where. Looking forward to staying here again on my next visit to Houston.
We came for a quick overnight stay to celebrate my husband's birthday, and we're already planning our next trip back. The hotel is beautiful and clean, staff are friendly and accommodating, and CityCentre location provides so much to do and experience within walking distance. I highly recommend stopping by Fireside bar for drinks and live music. The pool is beautiful and overlooks the CityCentre courtyard, plenty of lounging space. Though we came for a couples getaway, this would be great for families as well.
The only thing going for this hotel is location and their valet team. Everything else is mediocre at best. Very disappointed especially at 400 dollars a night! There was nothing exceptional about this place. A guest that had previously stayed told me in the elevator that she only returned because work had booked her there again but was crossing her fingers that the same problems didn’t happen again. Cards not working, no ice buckets in the room, painters tape on the remote, tv didn’t work. Called and they said it would be an hour wait so I got behind the tv and fixed it. Super epically disappointed with this hotel.
We stayed for July 4th and had an amazing view of fireworks! Great friendly staff and free breakfast! Great for families or romantic date night. Great balconies and view of city center. Easy access to restaurants and bars and movie theaters
Great hotel and great service! Love coming here for our kid free weekend trip! They upgraded us upon arrival, and they let us check out late. It was so easy and breakfast was good! The location is our favorite ?
The whole hotel has a very friendly atmosphere. From valet parking to reception and the restaurants, staff is attentive and service minded. Collins who took good care of us when arriving late the first night is a good example. A modern, well kept hotel with nice surroundings. Will certainly be returning.
