This is one of our go-to’s in Houston. Really great burgers and newly discovered delicious fish and chips! They have a pretty good beer selection and not to mention their milkshakes (churro milkshake in pics). Service is always super friendly. Their outside patio is very welcoming and dog-friendly!
The burger joint has not disappointed me and I have been here twice. The parking lot is a little tedious as it has a small entrance but it is doable just go a little slower to not miss it! They have big tvs and heaters available. The burgers are sooo good as well as their milkshake and fries. I do not recall the name of the white condiment I got but it's so good with the fries. Food was delicious! I had the mushroom burger. It was huge and full of toppings. Bun was warm and soft. I could only eat about 1/3 of it and saved the rest for later. Massive amount of sweet potato fries too. My food was fresh and hot and came out fast. Service was outstanding. You know your food was good when you think about it the next day ?
Great patio with plenty of fans to stay cool. Enjoyed burgers, the onion rings were perfectly breaded and crisp, french fries and next time will try the dipping sauces. Fast on service and everyone was very friendly. Loved that they allowed dogs as well!
This Joint Rocks!Located on Montrose Blvd, Burger Joint is the perfect spot for hungry visitors after exploring downtown attractions such as its parks and museums. Upon arriving, I was lucky to find an available parking spot but spaces are very limited. I ordered a single patty Mushroom Burger ($9.79) along with Onion Rings ($4.49) and some Hand-Cut Fries ($2.99). Finally, to wash everything down, I ordered a Cookies n' Cream Shake ($5.99). Joint offers a family friendly ambiance with outdoor bench seating which allowed us to enjoy the pleasant weather. To my surprise, food arrived pretty quickly. My burger patty was juicy with a charbroiled flavor and cooked to perfection. The melted gouda cheese played beautifully with the caramelized onions and mushrooms. Sizewise, I found the burger quite satisfying but those with a bigger appetite might want to consider ordering double patties instead. Onion Rings were very crispy and right on point. The Cookies n' Cream Shake delivered on all levels and was the perfect partner for my burger. The Hand Cut Fries on the other hand, were more soggy than crispy, similar in style to the ones served by Five Guys which is a disappointment in my opinion. Regardless of this, Joint's reasonable prices and gourmet offerings are absolutely delicious and should satisfy most of your cravings.
I wanted a good burger today. So I let Yelp decide for me by hitting the "surprise me" button and The Burger Joint came up. I am always excited to try a new spot. Real nice and cute! The atmosphere is friendly and chill.When walking in, everyone greets you and are super friendly!! They take your order at the register that looks like a bar. I ordered the classic burger with cheese and avocado. I also got the Parmesan cheese fries with bacon. I wanted a Carmel shake but they only had the salted Carmel. The lady at the register heard me say to my friend that yesterday I wanted chocolate and she offered me the salted Carmel mixed with chocolate. So I got it and it was good!!They give you a number to sit on the table to bring your food out to you. The sitting area was like a covered patio with huge fans and tv's. The tables are picnic tables. It was open and large for groups. Very pet friendly as well. (The sitting area was clean too!) I'd say we may have waited maybe 10-15mins and our food was brought to the table. The burger was delicious. It was juicy and very filling, I only ate half of the burger. I didn't really care for the parm fries because they were soggy but next time I will just get regular fries because the fries did taste good!Overall I enjoyed my food and the shake was bomb!! I will be going back to try different burgers and the other shakes!My new burger spot!!❤️
I don't even like burgers. Maybe eat them 4x yearly. This place definitely made me more of a burger fan and the shakes are awesome. I'm lactose intolerant but still loves ice cream, lol. Surprisingly, their shake didn't turn my stomach upside down.
Man ... you burgers ? were awesome.. we had the Bacony bacon burger and Queso fries ? The staff was amazing and very helpful.. go check it out...Well until next time signing off Two Peas
Delicious flavorful and fast! Super friendly staff and cool outdoor seating. It was cold out and they had perfect amount of outdoor heaters :) try the cookies and cream shake!
