Honestly questioned why I was going to eat there. It wasn't the best to look at, but they proved you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. The food and service were great. I had the chicken fried steak and it was delicious as were the fried pickles and chips and salsa.
When you visit this neighborhood gem, make sure you order the Magic Frozeen Macheen drink. I had the Dr. pepper Milkshake and it was so dang delicious!
First time in years returning since it was first opened and i must say the place transformed into something beautiful. I'm glad the owner weathered the storm and made through the last 4 years of slow business. Definitely earned it's stripes. I don't typically eat bar food but i always give things at least a chance. I had the general tso chicken and my wife the fish tacos. Very well prepared. Fresh clean clean clean. I'm a stickler for cleanliness in any place that sells food. This place is cleaner then some restaurants I've been to. Their drink variety is good as well. Definitely plan to return and support this local business that's part of my community. Keep up the great work if the owner reads this. I know you've poured your heart and soul by the looks of it.

Went last night and the food was delicious. I had the chicken fried chicken which came with mashed potatoes, green beans, and garlic toast. The food tasted amazing and the presentation was great. The interior of the restaurant is super clean with decor. You can tell when someone cooks with love and the food was full of wonderful flavor. I only wish the outside matched the inside. Some better lighting outside at night would really help the place stand out more. I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to try something with a little bit of everything in it?
Best food I had while visiting Houston. Good beer, nice owner and amazing Playlist. Wish I could pack this place up and take it back home with me. I guess I'll just have to settle for coming back next time I find myself in town.
They always have a new and great local draft beer. Food is ok to good, and this is a great place to hang out. Service is always friendly and prompt.
