Good traditional crawfish. Great flavor, just the right amount of spice.
I came early with a couple of friends! After 12:45 pm, on a Saturday, it gets pretty crowded so I’m glad we came early! The crawfish was spectacular, pretty authentic seasoning, as from being from Louisiana, this was great. The drinks were strong and I appreciated that.It is outdoor, so expect to be around a lot of flies and bees! The bees seemed friendly, but I hate bugs so next time I might sit near the inside seating. I wanted to come back here, but my card got charged twice! My original tab was $95, including the tip, which I paid for when I was there. The very next day, my card got charged twice! Another separate charge for $85!!! My friends and I had individual tabs so I’m confused as to why I got charged twice. I tried calling the restaurant 10 times, no answers. I understand business gets busy. But try to answer the phone sometime. I will be disputing the charge with my bank first thing in the morning.
The place has a super festive vibe. Get there during t he crawfish season and get one the best Cajun flavours. You need to grab a table as it can be busy. Their sausage is really nice, the potato could be better seasoned,Gator bites and the fried pickles were also good. Overall a great experience
Wonderful ambience and even better food. With a small group of 8, we each ordered something different and shared. Great gator outstanding oysters, especially the charbroiled ones. Nice wine list and special local beers on tap. Worth the trip.
Real Louisiana crawfish! Great patio outside! Easy n simple just like home and GOOD. Little bit of a wait as you order from bar but worth it! Signed a true Cajun!
We had family in town, so of course we needed to treat them to some crawfish! The boot’s crawfish were very good, seasoned well in the boil, not just dumped on top. Kids chicken tenders might have been the hidden gem though, they were definitely enjoyed!
Cute lil cajun bar in the heights. They had goooood crawfish last year, and I love that they provide a side of dry seasoning! I went last week and the crawfish were good but still a little small, so I would recommend going in a month or two. Plan to be there a minute because it took us about an hour to receive our food, but the ambience & drink prices are great.
Crawfish were overcooked by several minutes. Had to peel every tail entirely to get the meat out. Seasoning was on point but the shell was stuck to the meat so was disappointed for the first time at this place. Prob give them another shot since this is one of my favorite crawfish joints in Hou.
Great place to watch sports and hang out with friends. Plenty of TVs with coverage for everything you want to watch. Delicious food, everything from po’boys to wings and you have to have the fries. If you like crawfish, this is the place to be.
