Good food and great drinks! They make a good old fashioned here and a great paloma. The steak night was great as well.
I really enjoy the chill, relaxed atmosphere of this place. Their drinks are reasonably priced, and burger/trivia night (Tuesdays) was a great time! The food is all bar food, but I enjoyed it and really enjoyed the fair prices! If you're looking for a chill neighborhood bar, check this place out! If you want an extensive wine list with fancy food, look elsewhere.
I guess I should of done more research before going here. We are from out of town and thought the place looked nice from the outside. Not family friendly, but thought it was due to the play place outside, very dirty. Didn't realize you ordered at the bar, besides the point. Bartender that served us was friendly. Blooming onion was absolutely disgusting, both times, sent it back due to being under cooked, both times! Pizza tasted like it was a frozen pizza. Wings were good but not spicy. Kids hamburger was decent. This is a place to go for drinks not with kids.
Great, low key atmosphere with good drinks. Monday night special is chicken fried chicken which is actually really good. Hubs had an old fashioned that he really enjoyed.
Service was friendly and helpful.The outdoor area seemed bigger than the indoor. Visited at night but would definitely be nice for an outdoor visit during a sunny or partially-cloudy day, as long as it's not too cold or hot. Actually, outdoor at night was good as well because of the temperate temperature.The pieces of pizza, wings, and burger I had were not bad. I would say typical for a bar.
Pretty poor first experience.Arrived at 9:58 pm. Hours posted says this places closes at 12am.Needless to say the kitchen closed at 10.Ordered one of their current main cocktails and 15 minutes later still no drink. They weren't even that busy.We just left.
Nice place for a drinks with friends and food. They have crawfish specials during the season. There is a small children's play area and toy chest. There is outdoor and indoor seating as well.
Food and service were always terrible. They have lately decided to not let anyone sleep in the entire neighborhood by adding terrible, illegally loud music and karaoke; and have evolved from horrible pub to public nuisance.
Best Steak Night Ever (Thursday)!!! Great location to relax, have a glass of wine or two, and have meaningful conversations with colleagues, friends or family while listening to a great Playlist or watching a game. The atmosphere is amazing and the owner is an absolute Gem. The staff welcomes you like family. LOVE IT! I look forward to it weekly!S/N: Sitting outside by the fire gives me life!
I was so ready to review this eatery. It just didn't happen. We sat around for 30 mins with no service. The waitor was cleaning tables and just kept walking past us. No hey here is a menu etc.... just unfortunate. So my barking pig review is 2 thumbs down!! Without customers you have no business! ! Owner really needs to get staff into check.
