First and last time here. It really is surprisingly hard to find good Thai food here in Houston especially in the Katy/Sugarland area. Everything is fusion this or fusion that. Here at Thai Cottage they don't advertise fusion, but that is what you get ...Thai infused with sugar. Everything was overtly sweet . The only flavor you could taste was sugar. Its like the Panda Express of Thai food. Lunch green shrimp curry with 4 shrimp was $12.50. My total bill was 24 with app and tip. I felt robbed. I don't mind paying for good food even decent but this isn't it, especially with the tiny portions. Save yourself the grief and high blood sugars

I should read the reviews first and that’s true that prices here have increased substantially and the portions of Pad Thai had decreased to almost half of the original portion but what really trouble me is the smell really bad from the kitchen. I’m waiting in front of the kitchen. I will never coming back to this restaurant at Thai restaurant at Katy.

They don’t know how to communicate, can’t speak english. No servers available and takes an hour before food would come out of the kitchen. Overall worst place to dine.

Beware that prices here have increased substantially and the portions of Pad Thai had decreased to almost half of the original portion. It was very disappointing that they served half the original portion and prices have increased. The curry and the basil rice portions were the original portions, but when we asked for the same portion of Pad Thai it has always been the manager refused to do so and made us feel like we were imposing and asking for something that has never existed. The basil rice didn’t even have basil we found one tiny slither. The yellow curry was incredibly watered down the pieces of chicken were cut very strange. We have always ordered Thai Tea in the form of iced tea. They have done away with this now and only bring you a pre-mixed to go plastic bottle for $6. It was a very disappointing experience not at all what it used to be and recommend the location on Westheimer over this location any day!

Good food, good customer service and good prices !!!

Food is great service is fastRestaurant decor is fantastic

Barely edible. We left half the meal behind it was so bad.The curry was more like a candy bar with how sweet it was. Thai food isn't supposed to be sugary. Kamfer leaves are a major part of what gives Thai food its flavor, but they didn't use. Not spicy at all, even though we asked for extra spicy. Service wasn't very good, the floor was sticky and portions were very small considering the poor quality/price.Easily the worst Thai we've had in Houston.

Tried the Tom kha soup medium spice and it is sooo delicious and just the right spiciness. Clean and comfy inside.
