Went to go talk to them about booking the venue for a birthday event. They don't want to give out any information or talk properly. Its not like they were busy at that time either. The girl was texting and looking down on her phone while talking. It was just unprofessional conduct all around. Ended up going with lazeeza, the owner of that restaurant was much more professional and personable. Not giving tempura my business who doesn't even have the courtesy to talk to the customer properly.

Loved the Reshmi kabab and dry chicken chili !! The restaurant has a very decent menu with solid taste overall. Definitely try it !!

This place used to be our go to place for a family buffet for over 9 years. However, after pandemic it has got worse for buffet. I must admit that there overall menu has improved because of the immense competition in Halal Desi Food business, specially in the South West Houston, Tempura had to up there game and they did try and are a better version of their past in catering and Ala carte.Tried their buffet on Friday and it was the same old buffet game. The Biryani was atleast 24 hours, if not 48 hours old with clear sign of multiple warm ups. The lady replaced it with fresh Biryani as soon as I pointed out. The Chinese rice were also old, hard and chinese curry was too sour for any taste buds. The Paye were tasteless, no stickiness, plain and meatless with no proper bowls to eat them. The tandoori chicken was OK, but their Tempura Chicken was the best.Giving three starts for catering and Tempura Chicken and being old customer, otherwise Buffet was a disappointment.

Saw a worker put their hand in the trash and not wash it before touching our food. As for the food, one of our meat dishes was clearly old leftovers. They said they fire grilled a meat dish we ordered but it didn't have the fire grill taste. Lastly, the delicious looking pictures of the food on the large menu on the wall look completely different than what you are served, so perhaps they just put up stock photos.

We family of four went to dine in and we're pushed to try the dinner buffet. It was cold and felt like left overs. We were charged $17.99 per person and surprisingly 15% service charge. There was hardly any service in the buffet, literally had to bed for naan as it doesn't show up until 25 minutes. Beware of these front desk girls, they will charge you anything if you don't pay attention. Did I mention about the pathetic bathrooms, I wonder how they are allowed to stay in business. I will file an official complaint with food authorities. I do not recommend this place, and be warned of service charges on buffets and take away orders.

The place was pretty good. We went there for the Eid breakfast. They had a decent selection of food and everything was fine. There was plenty of seating since we had made a reservation. There was really nothing wrong with it. I would go there again.

We catered from Tempura for an iftari at our local masjid yesterday. I couldn’t take pictures of everything because it was very busy, but I have to share this review as a highly satisfied customer. We ordered for around 350-375 people but the turnout was much higher and we were easily able to serve everyone. All the guests left very happy. The food quantity was great with trays filled to the brim! The quality was outstanding. From the Punjabi samosas, fried chicken, and lo mein, to the korma, Palak paneer, malai boti… everything was very fresh, very delicious! But the thing that really stood out was the scrumptious beef pulao! It was perfectly cooked with lots of good quality meat. We got their lab e shireen in dessert, and that was wiped out in minutes even though we had lots of other store-bought dessert items too.Tempura Halal Indo-Pak Grill (10640 FM 1960 Rd W, Houston)

We were just driving through Houston and we stumbled upon an indo-pak fusion restaurant. Definitely will stop by again! The food was amaing! Especially the butter chicken! We tried several items from the menu and we’re definitely impressed with the quality of the flavors and presentation! The staff was so friendly and overall we had a great experience! Thank you!!

Low grade desi restaurant. Food quality is hit and miss from good to outright bad. One of my friends got gastroenteritis by eating grilled chicken. Two weeks ago I had a half grilled chicken and bihari kabob from it.

Fanatic lamb biryani. Especially weekend goat biryani is best, primarily because the goat meat is more tender compared to other days and prepared with perfection. Behari chicken kebab is another dish we like in starters.
