Delicious noodles & sushi. Even my picky eater husband loved them so much he waited outside, in a very sunny evening, for a table, when he has NEVER done that before (that should give an idea how good the menu here is). Waiting staff is very attentive & since it is a small place, they can check on all the tables at the same time perfectly & in a fast matter. The mood inside is heaven for manga lovers & any fan of Japanese culture. We have visited multiple times already & planning on keep visiting!
Tamashi is one of my top 5 ramen places in town! It gets super packed but it’s worth the wait. I usually order the “Tamashi’s Menn” Ramen. It’s a shrimp based broth packed full with flavor and comes with a shrimp skewer!
Absolutely amazing! We had the spicy Curry tsukemen with the fish cake on the side; and we had the Mt. Fuji sushi and we loved every last bite of it! ❤️One of the best sushi/ramen places in Houston!
I was disappointed with lunch because I was craving hot, soupy ramen on a cold day. Instead, I received a lukewarm broth for both our ramen bowels. We let the server know and asked if they could just heat it up in the microwave or whatever they wanna do so it is hot. When it came back out, it was still barely warm. We were so hungry at this point that we just ate it and left. My friends have had good experiences at the other locations on Holcomb and by Hmart, so I guess I'll have to try one of their other locations. Doubt I'll come back to this one.
Another great location of consistently great ramen, sushi, rolls and other Japanese favorites. The slightly smaller venue can lead to wait times especially if you have more than four people in your party. If you only have one or two and are willing to sit at the sushi bar you can get in and out very quickly. It’s located along the outskirts of the Marq center so parking isn’t crowded and fairly accessible.
Tasty ramen at good price ?
This restaurant is always leaving me satisfied with their food.Always kind service and quick to serve, I never feel unsatisfied with eating here. I usually order the Tamashi’s Menn since it is most popular and this is the BEST ramen I have eaten so far. The broth is always rich and delicious. The sushi they serve here is tasty as well!Well maintained even in a small building, but never felt it was much of a bother. The staff is always wearing their masks when talking and helping. Bathrooms are well maintained.
I've had lots of sushi places in Houston and I've passed on Tamashi a bunch, and it was a mistake. The sushi rolls are large and filling, and the rice is delicious and flavored better than I've had in other sushi restaurants. It's a bit small inside, but characteristic of all great sushi spots. I will always be coming back to this place for the Two Roll Combo and Seaweed Salad ❤️
Had the shrimp ramen was fantastic. I wouldn't recommend coming during busy hours as there's not a lot of seating. If it's really busy I'd recommend takeout.
Food and service was great!! Definitely coming back!
