Delicious! Visited this place while in town from NY and couldn’t stop ordering. Will be coming here on every trip!
Definitely one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Houston. Their breakfast tacos are so delicious and authentic. I’m from Monterrey, Mx and I am not easy to please. But this place is definitely a must try.
The Cafe de olla is everything you would expect from a Mexican restaurant. Their salsas taste homemade. Food is delicious and exceeded my expectations. Place looks clean and customer service is friendly.
This was a hidden treasure near Meyerland that offered traditional and homemade Mexican Breakfast and Lunch at affordable prices. The place is small but very well kept. The chilaquiles were so fresh, crunchy served with a homemade sauce!!
I got a menudo & loved it. Drinks are self serve, but everything else they bring to you. Very delicious food. Definitely recommend.
Visited Tamales Don Pepe for breakfast and it was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant did a good job of getting the order and packaging out to go order. The presentation was nice and the food was full of flavor. I really enjoyed the mole enchiladas and the chilaquiles.
The food is very good but portion is like a kids meal with the price as high as Gringos. I will stick with larger Mexican food chains where you get what you pay for. Chips and salsa cost and the give you at the most 10 chips. Not worth the drive especially if you are hungry.

~ Just moved to area. tacos are almost always my first food search in a new area of H Town. Had an egg & potato breakfast taco this morning.~ The tortilla melted in my mouth, it was SO light and delicious. Generous taco for the price!And lastly, the red salsa is magnifico!
Fantastic little spot. Friendly service and delicious food. A must stop and see!
