Quality of food has dropped a bit in the recent months since they got the new stand, but a story I have one specific reason why I’ll return to this truck. Went there in college , once with my wife , We didn’t have enough to pay for the entire order. They gifted it to us for free, told us it’s okay mijo just pay for it next time, which we tried to do, but they refused to accept. Will never forget that gesture. I’ve spent probably a couple thousand $$ in the last 9 years coming here just because of that one generous moment. Thank you!

Unbeatable. $2.50 street tacos - had pastor, barbacoa, chicken on corn. All were full of meat, onions, cilantro, brilliantly flavored, not salty at all. I eat spicy, the bulky red sauce will hit your mouth hard. They ought to bottle and sell that stuff. The green sauce was milder and thinner compared to red but was very flavorful. Plenty of meat for the price. Bring cash. Bring change if possible (5$,1$,etc) although I just went to store and got change with a pack of chips.

Good tacos. The red sauce is half the reason I come. Super spicy! They’re cash only though. Also, I think they upped the price of their tacos. $2.50 for corn now (as opposed to $2). Kind of pricey but I’ll keep coming back.

I am so deeply disappointed/disgusted by my experience here. Have loved for years, but I found a TOOTH in my taco. How repulsive. I’m not sure what kind of tooth or how this was missed but it is absolutely unacceptable. Sadly, I lost my favorite taco spot in Houston today.

Hands down my favorite taco in town! I haven’t had any other option come close to their carne asada, which is always incredibly tender and tasty. Both of their salsas are a potent combo of flavorful and spicy, but be careful with them if you’re not as big a fan of the heat.

I’ve been eyeing this place for a while, and it didn’t disappoint. This place has really good street tacos! Tacos go for $2 on corn, $2.50 on flour. btw, CASH ONLY!!Big portions!!! I highly recommend the chicken taco. I don’t usually enjoy chicken tacos, but this really hit the spot. Don’t forget the salsa!! Go for the green sauce if you’re into heat. The barbacoa is tender but has a bit of a funky flavor to it. I’m really sensitive to flavors, so to each their own. The lime juice mostly neutralizes it. The al pastor is unique. It’s not my favorite, but it’s pretty good. The ladies working here are very sweet.Definitely stop by, esp if you’re going for a drink across the street or passing by the neighborhood.

Great tacos of course. Tortas are worthy. Be sure and leave a tip (they deserve it).

My new favorite taco truck. Cash only! But so worth it. And affordable. The barabacoa is the best over ever had. The chicken tacos are juicy, not dry like most places, and the beef is so good you will want to buy another.

Best taco truck on the planet. Years ago, I used to visit them when they were at the Big 10 tire store on Montrose. They have since moved to Alabama, directly across McDuffie Street from the West Alabama Ice House. Owner is friendly and frequently there. The breakfast tacos are fantastic, but the pastor tacos on corn tortillas are my favorite. You've got to give them a try.
