The food was amazing and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. I like the no kid policy. You come to this place to enjoy the amazing food and whoever decides to join you. I have kids myself and sometimes I like to enjoy my food peacefully.

Very friendly service and a expertly crafted dishes make this the go to place for Indian in Rice Military and the surrounding areas. Every curry is well seasoned and the prices, though a touch high, are worth the quality. We look forward to trying more dishes the next time.
Thought I would give them a try over uber eats. It was disappointing. Tasted good. $16 for 5 tandoori flats and pieces + $3 naan + Uber fees and tip = 5 wing (pieces) not whole wings for $30. I would call this a ripoff. I am sorry I gave them a try. I was really craving tandoori. Taste was ok. Nothing like bombay brasserie.
This place was the best Indian food I’ve had, the service is phenomenal, very fast and the food is shareable sizes. I’d 10/10 recommend.
This place is delicious! It is always consistent with quality and flavors (even through the pandemic). The ambience is very nice as well. I've gone with coworkers and on my own! One of my favorites.
Drove 40 mins this evening to the restaurant just to find out they don't accommodate kids. We even called before getting to the restaurant , and there was no mention of this rule. Apparently, they serve the elite but lack courtesy and forget to mention such important details when someone is calling ahead. First You struggle to find Parking, and when you enter you are spoken to in a condescending manner. The chef, came out to explain the situation and stated everything in on the website. Well, not everyone is going to a website before going to a restaurant. May you should think of putting that on Google along with your address. So disappointed, done with their attitude in 10 short minutes, maybe for the better that we didn't stay to eat!
Very tasty dishes excellent service. Probably the best Indian cuisine in greater Houston area. Nice veggie choices also.
My dining experience at Surya India had my tastebuds on fire with such GREAT FOOD. Upon entering the owner greeted and sat me. I literally wanted to lick my plate. The restaurant was truly upscale dining and the food speaks for itself. Very intimate atmosphere with Superb treatment. This will be my goto restaurant going forward.M.Davis
