Stopped by in one night, to get out of the rain. Probably about 10yrs ago...and fell in Love with the place. The owner was the sweetest person I've ever met...the bar got its name that way I guess..Awhh!...almost forgot, had great music playing all night!You've got to hit this bar up at least one time, if you are or have ever lived in Houston.
First time in Houston and I'm so happy I found this gem. My husband and I literally just spent the last 6 hours on the front patio of Sunny's hanging with the locals. Thanks to Matt and his fiance this will forever be my favorite dive bar. You guys deserve more than 5 stars.
Randomly ended up here on a Saturday night and had the best time. Really friendly, fun vibes. They have the best jello shots I’ve ever had.
Loved this place! Plenty of options in booze and their wall is covered with funny messages. There is a game room in the back with pool tables and darts.
My first time here even though I lived here for years. Great bar with friendly people and outstanding staff. Matt and Shannon were super nice and made us feel at home even as first timers. Great beer selection and the largest flavored vodka selection I have ever seen. I will definitely be back.
