Table I reserved ahead of time was filthy! The floor under our feet was full of the previous guests food which must've had a child since there were many goldfish we crunched under our shoes. Music was terrible. Food was fatty I couldn't chew my fajitas. Tortillas were not good. Alvoholic beverages had very little to no alcohol. Very disappointed. Only good thing was chips and salsa red salsa was good
The red and green house salsa was amazing. That is saying a lot from a guy who loves Mexican food and different salsas. The brisket tamales were good, campachana was excellent and the verde enchiladas were great as well. The Palomaâs were fantastic. We will be back soon.
Such a great restaurant! The food is awesome and the ownership is such great people. Couldnât recommend this place more! The service is a little slow but doesnât make it bad for us. Definitely a staple neighborhood Mexican spot!
First time visit to Studewood Cantine. Good food, good service, good atmosphere. Both frozen & rocks house margs were good (not much kick). The El Jefe marg was ?. The pineapple jalapeño marg was ?. Beef fajitas, street tacos, El Gringo, El Burro, all good. Food has a unique flavor different from the norm. Definitely yuppie central.
I went for lunch with my cousin. We were told to just pick a seat & we opted for a booth. I'm thinking you'll have a hostess during busier times since there was a hostess stand.We were greeted immediately once we walked in. Once we took our seats, we got our much appreciated waters, chips & salsa. There were 2 kinds of salsa provided. The red is definitely spicier than the green one.We both ordered the grilled fish tacos (you can get the fish fried should you prefer). They come in corn tortillas (you get 2), rice & black beans (soup kind). I had to get the spicy slaw & cream sauce (more of a drizzle....it doesn't take over the slaw) on the side and our server was more than accommodating. We never ran out of drinks (tea & water), and parking was relatively easy. The place was very clean & everyone we encountered was friendly & polite.I look forward to coming back & sitting on the patio with a margarita once it cools down. Give it a shot! ??????
This restaurant was our absolute favorite!!!! The food was on a different level! The layer of flavors, the different combinations of ingredients left us wanting more!!! The beef fajitas were extremely tender and flavorful! The staff was amazing and friendly. We look forward to going back to taste more of their specialty items….
Nice Mexican restaurant! The happy hour beef tacos and chicken street tacos were delicious. Good wine and an IPA beer complimented our meal. Bartender James was great!
Wow…literally…wow. The food and the service were outstanding. The black barrel margarita is a new favorite! The nachos should be called “nachos from heaven.” The salsa was warm; my favorite. The atmosphere was relaxed and casual. I’ve never had fajitas that were so tender and flavorful! Can’t wait to go back and share the experience with my friends and family.
