I scheduled a reservation for a birthday dinner. The staff was amazing. We stay a little past closing but we never felt rushed. My only pet peeve of the whole night was when the valet team member returned my keys to the table and immediately commented that he works for tip. Definitely classless and abruptly changed the conversation of a great night.

Met some friends for dinner. We waited a very long time for our adult beverages to be served. The food came out one at a time so we were just sitting there waiting for the last person to get their food before we started eating. The noise level was horrible, we were screaming at each other. I had such a headache when I left. There was an extra charge of $2 for a substitution on my salad. I wish they wouldâve told me and I would not have made a change. My salad with chicken ended up to be $28 and it was very so so.I am sure we will never go back there. They will not miss us. There are plenty of restaurants in Houston with just as good food or a better food without the horrible noise level.
It was my birthday brunch, food and service were good. Just too loud and crowded.
Always enjoy State Fare. Love sitting at the bar, having dinner and watching sports.
Overall, it was a great experience as usual. The only thing was one guest was served bad juice. Forever, she wasnât charged for it. The server was great as well. I just think he was overwhelmed by all the blind people at the table. Training staff on serving people with disabilities isnât common. So we did our best to let him know what we needed. Great food and the hosts was also very nice.
Food and drinks were outstanding! The only complaint was the service.. it took about 20 minutes to get greeted from the time we were sat down and that was because I called the bus girl and asked to see who was our waitress, even after that it took another 10 minutes or so.. once the waitress got going it was ok.. my old fashioned took 20 minutes to be brought to me⦠long after everyone had their drinks and were already eating the starter.
The dining experience was great! Vincent was our server attentive! Mary was in a section next to him and always very attentive and friendly with my children when passing by! Great workers, great atmosphere! Will be back
Haven't been here in quite some time and I was happy to see and taste the quality is still the same. Enjoyed every bite.

So me my wife and her family went out for our anniversary and received the worst service ever I have been here once before it was great but I will not come back after this.
