If I could give this place 10 stars, I would—this place was INCREDIBLE!! The Taiwanese food was so authentic, yet inexpensive, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious.There were so many mouthwatering items on the menu that we spent a good chunk of time just deciding what to order. We were really excited, and the food—which came pretty quickly—exceeded expectations. For the appetizers and main meal dishes, we ordered Szechuan dumplings, marinated tofu, beef noodle soup, fried pork chop rice, noodle soup, and the pork chop with noodles. The portions were enormous for the prices. In addition, we got the vegetable juice and papaya milk shake, and you could really taste the vegetables and fruit in these drinks. Finally, for dessert, we ordered taro snow ice, which came with 4 toppings—we chose taro chunks, mung beans, egg pudding, and papaya. Like everything else, the portion was huge, though perfect for 4 people to share. The snow ice consistency was similar to ice cream and we could also taste genuine taro in it.My mom is from Taiwan, and she said the food was nostalgic, especially reminiscent of the food popular in Taiwan when she was growing up. Our family was SO happy we came across Star Snow Ice and Teriyaki!
Really tasty and cheap food! I'll be back to try their fried pork chop. I got the beef tendon soup, so rich and yummy broth. The Shanghai dumplings have a flavorful filling, the wrapper skin is on the thicker side that makes me think it was hand rolled. Also had a fresh fruit juice, watermelon and strawberry, super fresh and affordable.
Came here for lunch and ordered the beef noodle soup, the pork noodle soup, the pork shop rice noodle, fried chicken rice, grilled chicken rice, and deep fried dumplings. We ate it all before I remembered to take pictures, but the food was delicious! We also ordered shaved ice which was yummy as well. The restaurant was very busy and crowded when we went but our food was served after a decent wait.
This place is always super busy, and it can sometimes take a while to get your food. I’ve been eating here since they were located in another shopping center across Bellaire. I don’t really care for their boba milk tea, but their Taiwanese food is great. My favorite is the fried chicken.
Hidden in a glorious strip center, this place serves up some amazing dishes. Best spicy squid and spicy fried tofu I’ve found in my short adventures through the area.
Came by to try their dessert and got the watermelon shaved ice drink and fruit. It's very good and the prices are great! I saw you could get a meal here as well for under $10! Great value, great food. Try it.
This is the spot! a 5 Star - NOM NOM, delicious Taiwanese eatery. It's a 60 mile trek for us to make it down here, but it has to be done. There's so many great restaurants around, but it's really hard to branch out after we found this place. My go to staple is the pork fillet w/ a boba black tea (1/2 sugar) - it's kind of an old school black tea flavor, says my wife. The great thing is we get a few bags of dumplings to go, put on ice for the trip home and we're golden. The best of both worlds! The prices are excellent & the portions are huge. My wife is a big fan of the beef noodle soup.

The food quality is also bad. The chicken nuggets is unacceptably dry. The noodle is like…no words to describe. For this kind service and food quality, don’t recommend it to anyone.
