Randomly decided to come here one day. The place was super interesting with a bunch of “retro” things for the decor. My wife and I had a classic and chipotle burger, respectively. The burgers were sooo good, the meat tasted super fresh and the buns seemed to be made fresh. I had some waffle fries and my wife ordered some bacon cheese fries which also tasted really good. We are big burger fans and this might be or next go to burger place.
My friend had recommended this spot and I finally made it. The girl behind the counter recommended the cowboy brunch burger and it was amazing! I barely ate anything today and I inhaled it. I would hands down order it again. I was expecting an average burger and it definitely superseded my expectations. I also got egg rolls because they have egg rolls on the menu. Also a surprisingly perfect combo for a burger side. I would recommend getting three packs of duck sauce for any of you saucy people out there. I also got barbecue sauce on the side with my burger because I don’t eat mayonnaise usually. I’m really happy with my choices today. They also have Mexican cokes, so all in all, you must eat here. The decor is so cute too!
My friend wanted to check Stanton's out. We got parking right in front. You walk in the doors and get a retro feel right away. There was so many vintage memoribilia all around the restaurant. They have a Simpsons chalk drawing of the police officers, Bruce Lee plaque and many vintage cash drawers. It was pretty empty for a Sunday lunch. There was one big party when we arrived then it started to get busy when we left. The bar was mainly the only place to sit. I did use the bathroom afterwards and it was pretty clean.The burgers are halal. I got the classic burger and added mushrooms and Swiss. The clerk allowed me to make my changes after I asked for the changes moments later. I also added waffle fries. It was pretty good. I like the waffle fries. It was seasoned like the curly fries. I worked recommend the place and I will hopefully go back
Had a burger with chicken fried bacon on it! Awesome as hell. It did not even need condiments. I had it minus the sauted spinich. The boyfriend had a burger with bacon in the patty. He loved it. We shared an order of fries and it was enough for me but he loves fries so probably 2 orders next time. You can have them all sorts of ways we had Cajun spice. I will be returning. They have a bar inside for limited seating but do carry out. They are close enough the burgers will still be warm. Loved it!

I’m eating my burger while I write this review because this burger has me so excited! I highly recommend stopping by Stantons. I got the Truck Stop burger and it’s so juicy and flavorful. It’s a family owned business and the owners are so nice! Please, if you’re visiting or you live in Houston, go eat at Stanton’s City Bites!

Currently you can only get to go orders. I ordered the PMS(mushroom sandwich) and it was perfect. Everything was freshly made including the burgers and fries. One of the best burgers(friends) and fresh mushroom sandwich I ever ate. And the fries were crazy good. I heard,read and saw videos but now that I've experienced it I will definitely go back when we go visit our friends on that side of town.
Had a decent Grilled Chicken sandwich. They only have take out and require a mask. Too bad because the interior is very cool.
Owners are traumatized by COVID. I walked in to eat only to see all the chairs on the tables and the worker who seemed like the manager, told me that it's been to-go orders only for 2 years now lol. He looked at me like I was crazy for thinking that in store dining would be an option. Sad to see COVID mentally ruin people like that. Will never consider giving this place my business. Such a joke of a place.
