Stopped by on a friday night. They seemed to be understaffed unfortunately because it took about 20 mins for a server to greet us. However when the plates arrived, I was delighted by both presentation and taste. Our server did his best which we appreciate!I ordered the garlic edamame (which was decent but not the best) the baos, gyoza, noodles and a roll! I also had the same sapriousca (or however it’s spelled) and I really loved it! The happy hour menu does look great! I also love the convenient parking garage. I would rate higher but the patio service was slow.

Came here with my family for lunch on a Sunday morning and it wasn't very crowded. We had a very pleasant experience. The staff was nice and the food was great. Everything was fresh and delicious. The restaurant itself was very clean, well presented and had overall good vibes. I would eat here again.

The food was absolutely delicious. The fish was fresh, everything was fantastic. We had the butterfly roll, the pink lady, and a california roll. 100% will be coming back for the butterfly roll.

The review is way to good. Not even a average sushi place. Had 4 items. Guyosa- these were both hard and soft, baobuns these were cold and stuck to the plate and dry meet, fried calamari could just taste the batter and finally a maki roll that was flat and soggy. Have to be better places in Houston

Had dinner here tonight. Food was good but service pretty terrible. Witnessed several plates sit for 10 minutes before being brought to their table. Waiters preparing bar drinks and not on top of their tables needs. All while the heavier set bald manager (who seemed aware of the waiting food) slowly trotted past, blatantly checking his phone, only to presume chatting with guests at the bar throughout our dinner. Overall poorly managed restaurant and it shows. Would like to see this business succeed as the food is decent, but do not see that happening unless something changes very soon.

Good japanese restaurant. We ordered the lunch special 3 and it was awsome. Atmosphere is also great and restaurant was not too busy. The relation between quality of the food and price is great, so you can eat a good japanese food and do not pay $4 for a sushimi like in other restaurants.

It's a trendy restaurant devoid of personality and lukewarm service. However, the food was delicious and beautifully presented.Prices are reasonable.

I love Sozo's happy hour! They have a great happy hour menu with a ton of options for a great price. Service is always great. My friends and I love sitting outside on the balcony enjoying drinks and food. They also have a roll wrapped in cucumber which is a great option if you're low carb or keto!

This is our 2nd time visiting this wonderful restaurant while in town for a cheer competition and it never disappoints. The shaggy dog is our favorite restaurant specialty and we tried the top one I think it was the Lotus and it was super yummy! Sunday is HAPPY HOUR all day!! I mean who doesn’t love that? 4 of us ate and I mean LOTS and our bill was only $139! It’s so worth the visit! Can’t wait until our next trip back to Houston so we can go eat more sushi! ?
