Restaurant was not crowded. It was quiet and intimate. I wish they added more lighting because I could barely see my food. I ordered through the Houston Restaurants Weeks menu. Got the Wild mushroom ravioli which was really good. The Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly. It was so tender and melt in your mouth. I loved the slightly sweet sauce. The only thing was it had a lot of capers on it which made the dish too fragrant so I had to scrape most of it off. It was overpowering the dish. Overall, great experience. Tried most of the desserts and they were so good! Had the Tiramisu but shared the rest of the other desserts with my family. We had a great night.
Outstanding Branzino and Veal Piccata, Service by Fernando and Edwardo is always the best. Piano player does an excellent job as well.

Went to try their restaurant week menu. Delightful and they made a great wine recommendation. The filet was perfectly cooked and served with an excellent pan sauce + mushrooms. The pasta dish was plentiful and delicious. The ambience inside was very nice as well. Would definitely go back.

I ordered the filet mignon medium, but it was definitely well-done. We had to wait about 30 minutes after our appetizers for the entree, so I didn't want to return the steak due to the fact that I was very hungry and didn't want to wait another long time. There was a pianist playing on a grand piano, but the noise was so loud we could not hear the piano. Ladies, having a good time doesn't mean demonstrating how loud you can scream.
Just always a wonderful time at Sorrentoâ. Food always wonderful . And the service is fantastic. Live piano music is added plus.
Our favorite restaurant in Houston. The food her is most excellent and we all enjoy the piano music. I ordered rack of lamb which was outstanding. My wife had wild mushroom and sage raviolis which she thoroughly enjoyed.
