Chris the owner is very nice and attentive, Have stopped by several times and always enjoyed our food. Wonderful Greek salad and greek potatoes. Great food and service. We crave Greek food and this is our favourite place by far.
I worked at a Greek restaurant for 3 years that unfortunately didn't survive the pandemic. I had been craving authentic Greek food for YEARS! My mother introduced me to this place and I fell in love. I had the tiropita, skordalia, and avgolemono soup and it was all DELICIOUS!!! I am so grateful to have found this place and I urge you to try it.
Very very disappointed with this place and the person working the register. I ordered $40 worth of food online and paid online and when I got there it was already ready but had to wait in line 20 minutes to get it. There was only this one man working the register and serving food. He was already frustrated and I understand that but you should at least ask if anyone is picking up an order instead of making them wait in line for food that was ordered online, ready and paid for. When I finally got tired of waiting because I was on my lunch break and picking up food for my co-worker I asked the gentleman (excuse me the man)behind the register because he certainly was not a gentleman if I could just get my food because I had already paid for it online. He looks at me angrily and says yes and I look at him and he says do you want to tell me your name I’m not a mind reader and I say well you are the operator of the business so shouldn’t you ask me what name the order is in? He stands there like he wants a confrontation. He was messing with the wrong woman and didn’t realize but I grabbed my food and walked out. It could have gotten uglier but it wasn’t worth it. I will not be going there again EVER and will tell all the people I referred that place to not to give their business to them. The food is really good but the attitude and man behind the counter SUCKS. The next person he encounters may not be as nice as I was to overlook his demeanor. Side Note: if I was his employees I would leave him holding the bag!! He was so rude and yelling at the employees in the kitchen. Very iun-professional !!! If he is not the owner he needs to go!! And if he is he will lose a lot of business!!
I come here all the time because the food is good, but I wont be returning. This time the cashier was rude. I ordered to go and when I went to the counter, I told him i had a to go order. He kept looking down then looked up and said..." I'm gonna need more information than that". So I told him my name and he bagged my food and sat it in the shelf instead of handing it to me or even saying that it was mine. Normally the people are friendly and that's why I didn't mind driving far. Not anymore.
Everything is so good kitchen is very clean Everything is fresh and made daily I guarantee is very clean and great service
Great Greek food. We had the soup and salad combo. Personal favorite was the Egg Lemon soup over the two. The lentil soup has a great fall flavor.
Pretty good food, had the beef and lamb gyro and it was very good. Fries were pretty good too. We also tried the appetizer for two (not pictured) and it was interesting. Lots of flavors. Service was fast and they were playing Star Wars on tv lol. Would come back to try more dishes
So many great things to say about this place. The owner is super friendly and very personable. The food is amazing!!! My favorite thing on the menu are the gyros. The flavors are outstanding. My hubby had the lamb chops and they were not only thick but cooked to perfection. Don't forget to have the hummus too. It's made fresh and the flavor is amazing. We haven't had anything on the menu that we didn't love. I highly recommend Sokol's!
Food was great! I was under the impression this restaurant was an order at the the counter and sit type of restaurant. I ordered my food and paid at the counter. I sat down, my food was brought to me, and I left after I ate. As I was walking out the gentleman who took my order followed me outside and ask if everything was ok with the services. I stated it was great, he then headed back into the restaurant agitated. I walked back in and asked way he followed me outside and was something wrong. He stated it was customary to tip. I then stated I did not realize it was customary to tip on an order at the counter and sit down type of restaurant. Maybe I should have sat down and waited for someone to wait on me. But for an owner/manager to expect me to tip and then follow me outside after the meal was $15 for lunch is crazy. I will think twice about returning based on the fact my intention was not skip on the tip. I didn't realize I should have tipped based on the fact it was order at the counter.
Delicious food, lamp chops, salad, green beans all were great, tasty, nice environment. We loved it. We will be back for sure
