Everything I had was amazing. I couldn't stop eating. My friend and I ordered too much but we powered through because it was that good. We had the cheesy corn, The army soup, and the rice cakes with dumplings. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for authentic Korean food ?

Stepping into the Soju bar made me feel I stepped into a teleportation to Korea. Definitely felt I was in a Korean bar with the atmosphere, music, etc. The Soju was very expensive, $15 a bottle! The kimchi stew tasted slightly watery but towards the bottom of the soup it tasted better. I would come back here if I find myself in Houston.

I used to love Soju but it’s not the same anymore. They increased their prices by a lot. I have no issues paying for good food, but the food just isn’t good anymore. Expensive for not good food and the portions are smaller now. Sadly won’t be coming back anymore, even though this used to be one of my go to spots for Korean food :(

Wanted some korean food, so me and some friends came across this place while searching online. At first I was skeptical at first when I saw the place from the outside, but I gotta say the food was pretty good, authentic, generous portion. Definitely a hole in the wall, a hidden gem.

Came here a few weeks ago. Worst experience I've had at a resturant. The server took our order, we repeated what we wanted multiple times, even pointing to the photo of the 감자탕. So when she brought us a huge bowl of 부대찌개 we were so confused and told her we didn't order it- she refused to listen to us and told us we were lying. I know she just didnt want to admit her wrong and force us to take it. The food was disgusting and service took forever. My boyfriend grew up in Korea and is fluent, and I have been studying for 6 years- We know what we are reading and pointing to on a menu, English or Korean. Because we also own a resturant we know how it feels to loose money because of an error- but we also know when to admit our own mistakes. Never coming back, and I've been sure to tell all of my friends to do the same.

Nice place but very bad at service! We waited over 40 minutes for the food, asked her about the status of our order, 10 minutes later she brought the food and THREW the food onto the table like we came and begged for it! Really disappointed in her attitude!

TL;DR One of the best late-night food locations in the Houston area. Also, if you go often, let me know how long you think their waiter work before quitting.I have come to this place once almost every month. If you want a late position to hang out with your friends and have some great Korean food, this is your place. The restaurant also has a smoking section that is completely separated. They are always understaffed. Don't be surprised there are only one or two servers when the entire place is filled. This is the biggest downside of the place. Because servers change so frequently, the quality of service is super inconsistent. If you like chicken feet, I highly recommend this side dish! It has a great spicy kick. Also, they cook the chicken feet to the point where meat can fall off the bone easily. If you are not in an adventurous mood, try the Army Soup. It is a spicy soup with various meats, like sausage, pork loin, spam, ramen noodles, and kimchi. Get yourself a bowl of rice; it will go great with soup. This time we stopped by before Halloween, and the place is already fully decorated with Halloween decorations. Check out my pictures! Also, take a self on the throne!! ?

Nice staffs. Noodle and drink is good. But popular meat sometime run out of menu.

WTH is this place??? If you're looking for a hole in the wall place, but a HIDDEN treason, O...M...G! You've GOT to go to Soju Bar! We had the appetizers: zucchini pancake which was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and fried pork which was really crispy. I had to try their Kimchi soup, and it did NOT disappoint! Their kimchi was fresh and flavorable instead of being too spicy and smelling foul like some places. Had a nice balance of pepper and vinegar, which I prefer. Now the SOOOOJJJUUUU! You have to start off with the Yakult (probiotic drink) Soju and then try one of the flavors. We got the Blueberry which was so cold that it turned to SLUSH! ? TIP: Entrance is the door all the way to the LEFT! LOL!

First time here and I'm so happy it's open late! The food was delicious and the chef was able to accommodate some food preferences. The waiter was attentive and answered all of our questions. Will definitely be coming back soon!
