DO NOT ORDER A SMOOTHIE HERE if it was 0 stars I’ll put it they take 20 mins in the drive thru the smoothies taste off / tart there’s only 2 workers there and they don’t have no mask on talking or making our drinks THE MANAGER NEVER THERE this place need to be shut down worse experience ever my best solution is go to the smoothie king down the street on Ella . and when I asked for a refund neither of the workers know how to do it & the point machine is always down!
This location, in the last couple of weeks, has given me the wrong smoothie, made my smoothie lacking some key ingredients and didn't tell me, did not greet in drive thru(had to yell hello to get a response), waited at the window for about 10 mins and nothing - had to knock on window to get any attentions, then was asked "is this your smoothie'", which it wasn't and just left - 10 minutes I'll never get back. The manager and employees at this location are a joke. I asked the manager for my money back on one occasion and was looking through a box of receipts after ordering about 15 minutes earlier. Never found the receipt and I asked again for my money back as she was still sifting through receipts. I told her I can't wait any longer and eventually went to the register and refunded my money. There's a jamba juice relatively close and that's where my business is not going.
I had ordered a strawberry smoothie I guess the girl misunderstood and when I drove up to the window she confirmed if it was a chocolate one. I said no it was strawberry. The black girl rolled her eyes at me and said “you said chocolate”. I understand if she didn’t hear me right but you really shouldn’t treat customers like you don’t want to work there. Now I can’t trust if this girl added something to my smoothie since previous comments on here said it’s made them nauseas before
Why is the lobby always closed? This is inconvenient to people who order online an expect to pick up their order in an efficient matter instead of having to wait in the drive thru for other customers who are still ordering. Is there a legitimate reason to have the lobby closed everyday?
None of the staff were wearing masks, and the smoothie made me very nauseous. It tasted fine, but then I got a bad stomach ache for the next few hours. I've never had that happen before. It was definitely the smoothie that caused it.
Awesome vibe at this place- the gals I usually see working in the mornings are superstars. One seems like she is in a bad mood a lot but, hey, it’s easily because it’s early. I usually come on Fridays and Mondays.
Pretty good stop, was out running errands when I really wanted something cold and filling and stopped here. Would probably go by again as no one was rude and it was clean.Pros: cleanCons: parking
This place is amazing. The staff is always patient and understanding, especially the afternoon shift. Smoothies are thick and creamy even though my order is complicated and over the top (sorry girls!). The wait can get a little lengthy at around 3 or 4 in the afternoon, but it’s worth it. There’s many horror stories on here, but people need to be mature enough to realize that the food industry is in a difficult position. I’d recommend the Island Impact w/ strawberries or the PeanutPower Strawberry!TL;DRSmoothies are superb. Staff is friendly and helpful. (Hi Lexi!) BTW don’t be a Karen if the workers don’t happen to know every single detail about the 80+ drinks available, Google is your friend, use it.
Received the absolute WORST customer service ever yesterday!!! The two young ladies (Leslie and Jeanette) were both rude, unknowledgeable, and off-putting. The main person who was helping me- Leslie, couldn’t answer any questions I had about the smoothie I was ordering. I’m on a strict protein diet and she couldn’t answer anything I asked about the vegan protein options. She was irritated and impatient that I was asking questions- as if I was a bother. I drove 20 minutes to this location during my lunch hour and left with nothing because the service was so poor. On the way back I saw a competitor right down the street on Shepherd- “Green Earth Juicery and Cafe”! The customer service between the two places was night and day! When I walked into Green Earth I was greeted by two warm and friendly people who were smiling and eager to assist me. They offered to have me sample their drink of the day which was delicious! They were knowledgeable and had no problem with me asking questions. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING again to Smoothie King. This has not been my first poor experience with this chain in the Houston area!!
