I frequent this stop most mornings.I'm able to call ahead and order a latte. The staff is amazing.I also may stop here some evening if I need a quiet place to study or finish some work. I'll grab a beer and work on my laptop. It's a great cafe.The coffee is amazing. Qudos to their toaster.
I bought a hot chocolate, which was not only delicious but also looked beautiful! This is by far the most prettiest hot chocolate I ever bought. ? I love their parking lot it's so spacious.
Omg their chicken salad salad is SO GOOD. I also got their Ube latte and it was so creamy and yummy. I don’t have photos but here are some cool photos from their bathroom.
Come in when you have time to kill. This coffee shop really takes things easy. It’s a wonderful change of pace from the normally fast paced world.Would recommend this place if you have an hour or two to wind down.
Cool lil neighborhood spot with all the espresso drinks, wine, beer, lunch, breakfast and whatnots.I adore the decor. Good place to be if you’re busy doing nothing.
This place has grown into one of my favorite coffee spots in town. Friendly staff, chill atmosphere, lots of variety on the menu. Haven't had anything yet that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed. My go to is the nitro cold brew here. If you're in the area, check Slowpokes out!
very friendly staff. at some of hipster-ish places the staff can be stand off-ish and unfriendly. but, not here. friendly and engaging. slowpoke is an apt name - don’t be in a hurry. but, not complaining. food was good quality and tasty. will definitely be back.
Wasn’t a coffee person until I started coming here. My favorite barista is Emanuel, makes a good mocha latte! They have yummy pastries and cute stickers too.
Popped in for Saturday morning coffee and had a very nice experience! The interior is very cozy and charming and a perfect place to sit and chat for a while. I got the honey cinnamon latte with oat milk which I was happy to see as one of their specialties on the menu as that is my go-to order. I must say, it is definitely one of the best and most well made that I have ever had! I had the ham and brie croissant and husband had the bacon/egg/cheese biscuit served with a spicy jam. Both of them were delicious and came out quickly. Loved sitting in the cozy booths and can’t wait to visit again! We dined in, but it appears there is also a walk up window along the side of the building for to go orders. They also had a nice selection of fresh pastries that I look forward to trying next time.
**Updated review**I gave Slowpokes another chance after having a mediocre experience yesterday. To be clear, I said nothing of my previous experience. My latte this morning was delicious and steamy. I ordered a breakfast sandwich which was hot and also delicious (I recommend the sandwich over the avocado toast). Staff was friendly as usual and I'm thinking yesterday's experience was a one off. I would definitely come back next time.Visiting from out of town and stopped based on the high reviews. I ordered a latte and avocado toast to go. The latte was freshly made, but was barely warm for some reason. I'm scared my avocado toast may have been old since it was cold and soggy. Unfortunately, I'd already left before realizing the state of the toast. I spent $18 on the two items and both were subpar. Staff was very nice and the facility was clean, but quality was not there.
