I first noticed the cleanliness of the dining room and employees constantly cleaning the buffet serving area. Every time I went to the buffet, at least 3 times, my used plate was removed and my table wiped down. I like that very much! I can't stand looking at used dishes while eating.I really enjoyed my dinner. Good variety of entrees and all the appetizers you want. If French Steak and Spare Ribs are on the buffet when you visit I recommend trying them! I eat mostly main courses and appetizers so I didn't try the fried rice, noodles, or soup.I will come back and would recommend it if asked. The price for dinner I think was an exceptional value in a time where prices on eating out have become outrageous.Glad you survived the pandemic and are open for hungry customers.
The staff girls are on point here. Not sure if family owned very beautiful and friendly. Ther food is delicious. I had 5 plates piled and the ice cream. I'm new to Austin and happy I treated myself to there food.
My wife and I have eaten here on several occasions. Honestly, the food is good but the service has proven to be less than satisfactory on a consistent basis. I can’t begin to tell you how many times I’ve had to literally get up and find a waiter to refill my drink. My wife and I ate here this last Friday and it happened again. What’s frustrating is that our waiter was to busy flirting with a female waiter to attend to paying customers. He was literally looking right at our table and it was obvious that we needed refills on our drinks. But he never once returned to our table. When paying I pointed out how much we were being charged for the drinks and explained what had taken place. You would have thought that they would have at a minimum not charged for the drinks. Nope, she thought it was funny instead. Honestly, there are to many Chinese restaurants with good service to continue going to this restaurant. We’re done with this one! NOT going back.
Not sure how anyone that enjoys Chinese buffet food could rate this restaurant above a 'one star'. Yes, wide variety but then not much went into taste or texture. Beef dishes were filled with low quality, stringy and grisly portions. Hot & sour soup way too thick..lacking flavor or tofu. Was directed here by family member who said it was great axfew years ago! Just not anything now that speaks of quality or care in preparation.
Very large buffet, even some non Asian dishes. Something for everyone. Lunch is priced less than dinner and prices are reasonable. Carry out is available. Servers are very pleasant and attentive.
The food was tasty. They had a good selection. Staff wasn't talkative. They had a hard time keeping the rug clean. They did not offer the plastic gloves for serving. You have to request them. They had a half box of gloves at the front door on the hostess stand as if they are trying to save money. They did not have ice cream in the ice cream machine just cones. They charge 2.79 for toddlers and adult price for 11 and up.
I liked it! The fried chicken wings, sesame balls and crabs. Not even mentioned the price around $20 per person including tips.
Good experience. Been there a couple of times. Good variety but some dishes leave you expecting more. Its not really a place I would crave but its good for crowds/groups. Had a group of 4 adults and 7 kids and the bill was about a 100 bucks. That's affordable especially for a buffet.
The food is always fresh. They are constantly replenishing it. There is a wide variety with something for everyone. Also.. they have a friendly efficient staff. Always a positive experience.
I havent been to a buffet in over 2 years since the pandemic and choosing this one to be my first was the worst idea.The place has more seating than food. The place was packed for lunch (noon on a tuesday)The food was all bland, pale, and not tasty at all. Panda Express fried rice was better than this place.There was a small roach crawling on the windowsill at my table. So i left immediately.
