We always do hibachi, but the wait was 30 minutes so we decided to dine in. We ordered the same thing we always do: chicken and shrimp with fried rice. We waited 15 minutes just for silverware. The plates were DIRTY! They brought no dipping sauce. When we got our food it tasted and looked different. The waiter said that dine in is cooked differently with different ingredients. Well my question was why does it not specify that on the menu so I am not disappointed when I get my regular order? At that point I asked for a manager and she made no sense about how hibachi is the same but different. We will not be returning to this location. Waiter was great but the management needs to step up and make sure customers are not mislead by the menu. Food was awful!
Excellent food great service ❤️
I’ve been to this location twice and both times the experience wasn’t great. Last night was our 2nd time and it has resulted in us never returning. We wanted to sit at the hibachi however it was an hour and half wait. Understandable since it was a Saturday night at peak dinner time. We decided to just take a seat in the normal dining area and were placed in the very back booth in between 2 booths which were currently occupied. The waiter (who maybe spoke 5 words to us the entire time) kept skipping over us. We waited 30 minutes to even get our drink order in and then waited another 15 minutes to get our drinks that were incorrect. He didn’t come back to get our food order for another 30 minutes. We got our appetizer, however no silverware/chopsticks nothing. He then disappeared for another 30 minutes while we waited not being able to eat. We then finally got our dinner order and asked for silverware, and then waited another 15 minutes to even get our silverware. While we were waiting, we saw him walking around on his phone ignoring his duties. Once we began eating, the food was cold and on top of that terrible tasting. All in between this, we never received the correct drinks or even refills on our drinks. When we finally got our check, the waited LITERALLY disappeared as if he knew we were upset about the entire service. I’ve been to shogun in Conroe and in a cypress and have never had terrible food or bad service. This is the 2nd time at this location for a similar experience and we will never be returning again. Do better!
For over 8 years, we have visited spring location, and we love it. Recently we started coming to the vintage’s one, despite the long waiting we still keep coming. But tonight I had to hold the Karen in me, after I had the chef telling what I should and I’m allowed to says when it comes to my meal, he got upset because after I asked several times about mushrooms on the veggies he keep on ignoring me. And when he finally after 5 times of me asking he’s only answer was they don’t want mushrooms. I was paying for my meal so why my recipe has to be modify base on someone’s else food preferences. Needed less to say I was the last one getting everything else after that and when I was asking for sauce well guess what I didn’t get it either. Not coming back again for sure
Although I enjoyed my meal, three days later money was taken from my bank account as if my meal wasn’t already paid for.I later learned that restaurant staff sometimes tip themselves in addition to what a customer already paid. In this instance, I already tipped $6 in cash to the cook and $40 on my card. They took an additional $111.77 from my account that caused my account to be overdrawn causing great embarrassment on my son’s birthday. When I called the restaurant I was told that they never double charge customers and what I described never happened before. The blame was put on the bank. My bank said they indeed charged me twice and may have assumed that I wouldn’t be able to pay and that resolution couldn’t happen until days later because it was pending as the charge was just made days later. I believe that to be racial profiling.I was advised to go back to the restaurant to get my money. I did as instructed and was told that there was nothing they could do because their records show my original charge only and not the second that was processed three days later even though the record was not pulled from the current day(the day that I was charged a second time was not even the day I visited) but from the day I was actually there.I broke down crying because I was not being treated fairly, did what was right and was put in a bad situation on my little boy’s birthday. The manager who originally said this never happens later said that it does happen and gave me cash from her purse. It was not what they took though. My daughter who is a waiter said that often these types of establishments tip themselves and it often goes unnoticed. Very disappointed and will never go there again. If you are Black please be advised they may think that you either can’t pay or if you tip too much will assume that they can tip themselves from your account without issue.
It was expensive for 4 people, but it was entertaining. For the price, I wish the portions were large enough to take home leftovers. The food they made was for 8 people at the table. 2 different groups. It was fun though. I was 1 of 5 different people that had their bday celebration there, so that was cool. The food was good and the service was great.
We went here for our son's 50th birthday and had a great time. Our chef was very good and did all the usual tricks and cooked up everything perfectly!
I got the dinner combo(fillet mignon and scallops) and my wife got the fillet mignon and shrimp. The food to be honest is horrible. Low tier food with no flavor. The fillet didn’t even taste of some good quality and everything just has no flavor. Why am I going to you if I am making much better steaks. Additionally the floor was extremely slick for some reason I had is hazardous. Customer service is poor. Much better restaurants to go to for the price. 3/10 rating for the food.
Very nice. The food was great, service was excellent.Very clean.
Ordered a bunch of sushi Togo and was extremely disappointed. Sushi rice in the rolls were not seasoned, made for very bland sushi. The sauce for the fried mushroom also barely had any flavor, i had to soak the rolls with soy sauce to get any flavor. I could have saved a lot money and just got grocery store sushi and had a similar experience.
