Great food at great price. Doesn’t seem over priced. A lot of variety of vegetarian food and snacks. Seem very clean and organized as well. Bit of waiting time since a lot of customers come to eat here but seems worth. I really like their food quality as well. My five stars. Best wishes !
Not the same as it use to be. Now behind the counter folks are rude despite giving wrong food several times. And most of the time there is a lot of wait time just get bad quality food. Customer service and food quality as taken a nose dive. Drove 45 minutes just to find out they gave wrong plain dosa instead of what we ordered (Surati Mysore Masala Dosa) and that too severely undercooked, picture attached. Most likely never returning back, we forgot Udipi is an excellent option in Sugar Land + Hillcroft.
Great food and great service. First time having Indian food and it did not disappoint. I've had other places since and this is still the best. Love Indian street food now and I will be returning many times over. It helped having a guide with me (a friend), but even when moments he wasn't there and in the restroom the staff was cooperative and helped me understand what everything was.
Great food great prices! Thats all I can say. Went with family couple of months ago. Definitely had a long line and wait time bit totally worth it. All cravings satisfied!Every dish was flavorful and to the point. Service was definitely slow and a bit unorganised but as long as the food was good.Ps- this was our 1st time trying.Pss- check out the pictures ,everything is amazing!
Went there in the evening. We ordered Masala Dosa and Dahi Puri. The food was good. But I didn't like the mint chutney. It had crushed coconut in the chutney, I don’t know why. The Dahi puri was really delicious. But the main problem with the restaurant is the service. Their service is the worst I have ever experienced. We had to wait STANDING for almost 25 minutes just to order and then the wait for the food. Had to go to the register twice to check out if our food is done or not. Even the tables are not cleaned properly. It felt they don’t have enough service providers. Please hire some more people for the service. Just only 1 person taking the shop order, online order, phone order and after that the same person giving the food to the customer, that is really weird. The food is good, but because of the customer service, I am giving such low ratings.
Poorest customer service in town.1. It’s Third time happened with me that I placed order on phone for pick up , they forgot take my order and after reaching their I had to wait for more than 40 minutes.2. I placed 7 items in dine in order that gave me 6 very fast with no sequence at all. And for remaining last one they kept me waiting for extraordinary wait time. Just frustrated their rude expressions when I go their to ask for my last order.They should know Customers pay them for food not beg them.Two stars for good taste for few dishes not even all.And now I hate that owner’s arrogant face.
The best vegetarian restaurant in town. Everything is extremely reasonable, would recommend coming with friends so you can split and try many dishes. All dishes are bursting with flavor. Come here early and often, tends to get crowded around lunchtime. You will not be disappointed!
Authentic taste of Pav Baji, Dosa etc. A must restaurant in Houston to try. Cost is very cheap also compared to other restaurants
I fell in love with Dosa when I was in Maldives and my bf took me here when we got back to Houston. I would say this is the best dosa in Houston.
I love Shiv Sagar. One of the best places to eat in all of Houston! The price and quality is unmatched have been coming here for the last 4 years and have only had a few okay experiences every other time has been a treat. I don't even have to think about where I want to go this place always comes first to my mind. That being said it gets really busy and don't just come in the busy time and think its going to work out for you.
