And yet we the customers get screwed out of our money but who cares as long as they make the sale, right?"Today, do-nut lovers still do everything they can to get a taste of Shipley’s heavenly glazed do-nuts – served hot and fresh just the way Lawrence liked them. To quote the man himself,"“When they bite into that hot do-nut, it will bring them back every time.”
*** Do not place online orders! They will steal your money! *** Placed an order through their website and paid for it in advance only to be told that I’d have to place the order a second time at the location and pay for it again. Personelle on-site advised me that there was nothing they could do about the online order and told me to contact corporate. After multiple calls and e-mails Shipleys has done nothing - it’s been over a month and yet I have received no response AT ALL and no refund either! Don’t waste your time or money here.
Lucy at the drive-thru was so sweet, thank you so much for being so nice and attentive. First time we get excellent care, the donuts were warm and delicious.
One star because I couldn’t give less . This store has nothing made in the early morning . When you get lucky enough to get donuts early , they are as cold as can be and getting hard from setting out . It must have changed owners .
This used to be the best Shipley’s to go to but they have since hired young men that are extremely slow and never want to give what’s being requested. I’ve ALWAYS asked for hot fresh glazed and the people that have been there for years have ALWAYS given what I’m requested. Now I get stuck with these men that give me cold donuts sitting on a cart. This morning he said they didn’t have any hot BUT I just walked the lady walk to the back and get some for another customer. I don’t even understand what the issue is. I go early for the hot fresh donuts. When it’s clearly available why can’t I get what I’m paying for ??
I can’t find the page for the new Shipleys donut that just opened on Wallisville road. But I went super early this morning to get a kolache without cheese. Well the lady said they didn’t have any. So I asked when will they be making more because I really wanted one this morning. She said they weren’t planning on making anymore today. So thank you for not accommodating to people who have food allergies.
Went yesterday afternoon and while waiting noticed the 2 males that were making doughnuts had no hair net or facial guard one of them had a full beard and the other a mustache and goatee..When it was our turn there was limited doughnuts no drinks and when she notices that there is it belonged to the other female worker.she apologized for not being able to sell she was unaware she stated that the drink belonged to co worker until she got yelled at!!!She herself at the window was very nice and had great customer service..
Best place to get the freshest donuts it's always busy but worth the wait and staff is very friendly.
12-10-22 8:20 p.m. GARBAGE! Old and cold! Not a single microwave in the location. Not that it would make them taste any better!
