Nice little place tucked away is a nice part of town. First time with this type of food and it was amazing.
They used to serve good food. This time we didn't like it. the chiken was very dry. and very less option
I have been coming to Shawarma King for years now, and for good reason, the food is fantastic. The employees are absolutely delightful to their costumers and they go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. The food prices are fair and even though the restaurant is very small you can still have a seat outdoors, if you wish. The only down side to this mini restaurant is the parking, because they share a lot with a major washateria and two more smaller businesses, it makes for a splitting headache trying to find parking, and keep in mind it's located in Hillcroft, I know, you also have that massive traffic to worry about, but in the end the Chicken Shawarma and hummus is worth the hassle.
The last time I paid a visit to Shawarma King was in 2014! It was great then and even better today! If you don't stop your missing out!
It's been years since I've been there but they have the BEST chicken shawarma on the planet! If I ever go back to Houston, this will be one of my first stops back
This place AMAZING Shawarma sandwiches and hummus !!! Everything l have tried was great too but the Shawarma sandwiches are to die for ! The atmosphere isn’t great but it is very Clean and with food this good who cares about atmosphere!! Highly recommend!!
Amazing food and amazing people they make you feel like it's home and the big guy when you call he treat you like king in the call he give u choices if you don't know what to eat hands down best place
Today , I felt like having Shawarma .It was my first time there.The place looks old and dirty.I say hello to 3 people who were working there.No body said hi or acknowledged me.They seemed very racist.So I left.I would not go back or recommend this place to anyone.
Had a phone on top of the cutting board. While preparing shawarma, touching the screen and continue making the shawarma with the same hand. You should never had your phone on top of cutting board. I was the only customer and he can’t even leave his phone for 1 minute. No apology and he even said he didn’t mind if someone makes his food and touching the phone with the same hand. What is the point of having gloves on? And it was the owner of the restaurant.
Walked in on Sunday with only 2 people eating at one table and 3 employees appeared to be on staff and the cashier was on the phone. I wasn't even greeted so I decided to say Hello first and was completely ignored by all 3 staff members. This would have been my first visit to king Shawarma as I found them on yelp as they say that they have the best shawarma but they are lacking in customer service so a huge thumbs down and I took my business else where.
